New Angle, "Bloody" Executioner
Just recently, though I could have done it sooner, I discovered this build while henchwaying through Factions [and henchies love spamming stuff believe me]
This build is a team warrior build, if you have at least 2-3 warriors in your party, having this build can cause a 'turbo charge' of adrenaline spikes...
16 Axe Mastery
9 Tactics
10 Blood Magic
Cyclone Axe
Eviscerate {E} - FTW!
Executioner's Strike
Bonetti's Defense
Blood Renewal [or Blood Drinker, if you wish]
Dark Fury - best use of energy EVAR
Demonic Flesh
Plague Touch / Res Sig
This build allows you to take a much larger beating and TURBO your adrenaline skills [as well as that of your other warriors]. With Blood Renewal in the mix, worrying about enchant stripping isn't as harsh.
How does this work?
Well, you'll definitely want a zealous weapon to some degree and you'll be focusing on Bonetti's and Dark Fury as your 'spammed' skills.
Ideally speaking, just before you engage your targets, you'd cast Demonic Flesh and Blood Renewal, rush them, and after your first swing [to make sure you're in range], cast the 3/4s. casting Dark Fury. [at this point, your e. pool is nearly empty] With 3 warriors at the front line, that's an extra 6 a. per swing, don't ask where I got that # from though as skills like cyclone axe and triple chop can REALLY suck in the adrenaline. Even taking hits seems to affect it to some degree. [let's just say you make a LOT of adrenaline.]
Even though it's just 5 seconds, I am able to cast TWO spikes of Evis+exe. strike near the duration of the spell. Execute the spike JUST after casting it and when it wears off, [4-5 swings], you can do the spike AGAIN with Bonetti's Defense fully charged.
While waiting to get your energy back, Bonetti's is the key to managing your energy. If played properly, you can jump between Dark Fury and Bonetti's for most of the battle quite readily.
When all the melee are dead however, the rangers/casters [who don't affect bonetti's] will leave your energy quite dry, but hey, warriors don't need to worry too much past that point about mowing down softies right?
I made this build out of necessity to feed my new Zealous Plagueborn Axe of Fortitude which has a golden name and +15% damage while wearing enchantments. Since this is an enchant heavy build, I figured this would be a powerful build for it. Curses had no enchantments so I wanted to give an enchant wearing warrior a chance, I'm liking it. A lot...
Not many warriors [outside w/mo or w/n] can claim to have 655 out of 655 hp!
The build also combats degen VERY well since Blood Renewal generates a hefty amount and the heal at the end of it coincides well with casting Dark Fury. [NEVER cast Dark Fury until just before BR ends]
If you're asking about Cyclone Axe, you can replace it with Disrupting Chop if you're desperate for energy but I never had trouble with it.
note: it's NOT necessary to have gladiator armor, I hate builds that FORCE you to have this item/gear so I hope it's reflected here.
btw, don't argue with me how casters should use Dark Fury, it affects YOURSELF along with other warriors and if a caster is THAT CLOSE to cast it, they're stupid and dead as well unfortunately...
If they made it 5e. that'd be cool, COME ON ANET, HEAR MY VOICE! ^_^
