well to get threw the game i'll probably go a healer since, since its easy to get parties or i can just get henchies and keep them alive, so can u tell me exactly what i should put in what pls?

also no one has realy said what is better? tattoos for enery or +10 vs phyical or +10 vs ele(out of the 2 +10 ones personaly i would think the +10 ele would be better cause ur always back from the main back anyways just getting hit with ranged attacks. But i could be wrong cause i'm not very far into the game at all, so basicaly my question is what armour is best for pve.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but here's the setup I would use (for PvE, on a WoH healer):

Aescetic's Healing Scalp (Minor DF)
Aescetic's Chest Tatoos (Major/Sup Vigor)
Aescetic's Leg Tatoos (Minor Smiting)
Aescetic's Arm Tatoos (Minor Prot)
Aescetic's Foot Tatoos (Minor Healing)

I use this setup because I never wear superior runes during normal play, so I don't have to worry about my sup overlapping one of my minors. If you wanted to have a sup rune on the scalp, just rearrange it so the DF rune is somewhere other than the scalp and omit the smiting rune.

For Elemental you would want to use Wanderers for Physical you want Censor's but depending onn what you can afford on Mat.Waderers would be your best bet .

Well you maybe new but not noob.I would go with what you like from Droks personally anyway when it come to the runes I have my devine favour in my head, healing on my arms or hands, smiting on my feet and protection on my legs and major vigor on my chest. It depends to on what Monk you are and secoundary. What Effigy said is fine if you want all tats with minors runes. It is ok to go with all tats in PvE.It is really your choice.

If you want to get into PvP in the near future, you will probably want to make a separate PvP only character for that, so tats are fine on your RP character. If you did want to get an RP character ready for PvP, armor is the least of your expenses.

I find as a prot monk playing PvE Droks tats are the look I need , energy is a good thing for a monk to have. I put a super prot hat on and rune the rest of armor with minor runes except the chest and there I put a super vigor . I also have another super heal hat as well. (depending on if a healer is needed) Like if alot of mezing is going on and enchantments strip or cause a Bonder pain. You know you got it right when you put Vital Blessing on yourself to save yourself your health is 666 when it maxes out.

Vigor runes have no penalty, so use the largest one you can afford. If buying a superior, try to buy it from a player rather than the NPC vendor, since players will sell it cheaper.

All armor has the same energy regen. Aescetic's armor gives +7 maximum energy, but it won't make you regen any faster.

er yeah, i knew that but i didnt type it right

i started this monk in factions so i can get the aescetic bonus on regular armor , dont need tat'd up. About to pick up my full Canthan style armor with the max energy bonuses. Might think about a set based off of Judges as well for PvP or something. Then its just saving for a 15k set.

Yah tried Judges in PvE and the lack of energy cramped my style . Was sweating the blessed sig a little to hard (#8 key smoking) . Also if you start taking blows to the head you just have to suck it up and loop the agro back around the tanks, then go back to the back and keep the bonds/heals up. Dont try to go toe to toe with a wammo. Your a monk your a healer/protector what are you shooting your gun for .
LOL

I used Judge's throughout my entire PvE career on my monk without problems. If you're running out of energy a lot it's probably due to excessive pressure (not your fault), overhealing (unrelated to your armor), or lack of energy management (again, unrelated to your armor). +7 max energy is always nice, but far from necessary. Then again, +10 physical armor is also unecessary (in PvE anyway) so it's really just a matter of personal preference. You won't notice that much of a difference either way (again, talking PvE here).

for the super major or minor in the helm, i ment healing rune. Vigor is going to go in my armour. I was basicaly asking witch healing one i should put in helm? Also then i put major vigor in chest then one of the rest minors in the rest correct?

I went from my Factions base armor to my 1.5k cantha (Aescetic bonus type) in like 2 or 3 nights playing...that SO MUCH easier than the grind to the 1.5k armor in GWP.

Now I'll go back to the island and get to level 18ish before I start on the mainland quests. Currently level 13

I currently have 15k Luxon Ascetics (I don't like body tats O_o), sup healing rune on head tat, no vigor rune yet but it'd go on my chest piece. Got no energy problem when groups don't over-aggro, and I've beaten Prophecies last night with ease (had beaten Factions a while ago).

Do what Effigy has suggested and follow this.To the rest the OP is asking about Prophecies only armour not Cantha.

having said that. it truly doesn't matter what armor you choose. they all have their benefits and drawbacks. personally, i chose the censor's armor w/tat arms and feet to counter the energy lost. i now have the 15k judges w/tat arms and feet.

if you're having energy problems, then you have too many (more than 1) 10 energy heals in your bar. i never went with anything other than censors. well, there was this time i tried the saintly, but let's not go into that here.

There's nothing wrong with getting a run, but I'd recommend going back and playing the missions in order if you are new to the game. The learning curve is less steep this way and you'll also gain levels and gold.
