Thanks Dragasa, as always you have top of the line information.
As for getting enemies to aggro to your pet, use a longbow or flatbow to pull before switching to a staff. Then dont' be afraid to run away some so they drop to your pet.

my beastmaster has invaded Elona. i did a little farming with him yesterday, cleaned out every boss on one area, got a few greens. i'll start posting the bosses here at some point, but i want to wait and see if they fix the AI bug first. right now a lot of the bosses will chase you, then go back and just stand there. they won't attack, but maybe spam a heal if they have one. it doesn't allow for an accurate list of farmable bosses because the fight would go differently under normal circumstances. any bosses i listed would need an * next to their name. but i'll give it a week, take my ranger further in the game, and see if the AI changes. if it does, i'll go back an redo everything to see what can be farmed. if it stays the same, then you can probably farm anything. it doesn't attack, so it poses no threat.
off topic:
congratulations Craze Horse on making guild of the week.

so, yesterday i didn't have the problem with the bugged AI, everything was acting normally. here's a quick list of what you can farm:
Marga Coast bosses: All
Sunward Marches bosses: All
Arjok Ward bosses: All
Dejarin Estates bosses: All
i'm not going to bother listing all the names (because i can't remember them, and guildwiki isn't working). i've been trying them out while questing/farming sunspear points, whenever i come across a boss i take a shot at him. so i should point out that i have a full team of hero/henches with me. what i do is use the henches to take down the bosses mob, then send them off far away (until their names gray out in the party window) and then go back in for the kill. if you're going to do it this way, make sure you call targets so that your henches don't start in on the boss and take the kill away from you. also, if you have an MM hero, use putrid flesh to blow up a few minions before taking out the mob, otherwise you risk losing the kill because minions will hang around and keep fighting after the MM leaves. my MM can only raise 8 minions (no runes for him, i figure if he gets a share of the drops then he can buy his own damn runes), so i usually take it down to 4. the only area i've had trouble with is the Barbarous Shore, i got my ass handed to me there. i'll update the list every few days as i play through the game.

Very very good work. I'll start investigation of the nightfall area as soon as I level up my new Dire Hyena.
I think they fixed the AI to a certain degree if not all the way. Hopefully it stays fixed and problems don't become a problem.

part II of the list:
Jahai Bluffs: All
Turai's Procession : All? - guildwiki lists a mesmer boss there, but i don't remember coming across it. either way, you can probably kill it if you see it.
The Floodplain of Mahnkelon :
Terob Roundback
Robah Hardback
Jerneh Nightbringer
Zelnehlun Fastfoot
Yatendi Canyons:
Tain the Corrupter
Makdeh the Aggravating
Hajok Earthguardian
Lieutenant Vanahk
Corporal Suli
Yamesh Mindclouder ? - can't remember if i saw him there, or if guildwiki is wrong, but either way, you can kill him
Vehtendi Valley :
Chumab the Prideful
Yamesh Mindclouder
guildwiki lists 2 other bosses here, but i didn't see them, i'll go out again for another round at a future date
Forum Highlands :
Bolten Largebelly
Korshek the Immolated
Churahm, Spirit Warrior ? - i think i killed it, having a little trouble remembering
The Mirror of Lyss :
Briahn the Chosen
Yammiron, Ether Lord
some of the bosses can't be done with a pure beastmaster build. some monk bosses are heal spammers, so i went as R/Mo with scourge healing and let them heal themselves to death. for some other bosses i went R/Me with backfire. a few warrior bosses were hitting hard, killing me in 2 hits (250 damage in 1 hit). any bosses not listed in the areas above might still be farmable, i just didn't want to spend too much time farming, i just want to play the game for now (and i don't need a lot of crap sitting in my already limited storage, nor wasting time trying to sell everything).
here's a quick list of my winnings so far, almost all were gotten on my first try.

Wow very nice. Looks like I need to go kill Bolton. Anyways I will try out a few bosses now that I leveled up my new pet. Strange thing is it never got to dire, I have a level 20 agressive pet.

OK, sorry for being such a noob but I don't get it, some of these bosses are surrounded by rather large mobs, so even if I can get the right aggro (i.e. they all attack the pet, not me), the pet will die quicker than I can heal it..
So please, would someone post a brief guide, the actual build used, or at least the essential tip(s) on how to solo such large mobs surrounding most of those bosses? How can you keep the pet alive through so much accumulated damage and hexes?
Unless this is about using henchies/heroes to clear out the mobs around a boss and then sending them away before moving in "solo" for the kill -- that I know how to do, but that's not "solo" and it may be nerfed in the future..

some times when my pet is getting heavy degen from hexes/conditions i just let it die. at 16 BM your pet will rez with 61% health, hex/condition free, which is better than blowing through your energy spamming heals to keep your pet hovering at 20-30% health with massive degen on it. and it will usually go right back to attacking after being rezzed. and like i said in my earlier post, i'm just taking shots as i play through the game, so i have a full hench team with me to take out the mob before killing the boss. it's not really "solo", but that doesn't bother me much. i'm just more interested in playing the game than farming right now, and i've been playing through it as a beast master, so i thought i'd keep track of whatever i killed along the way. the only time i ever go back for a second try is if i couldn't do it my first time, but thought i could make the kill by adjusting my build and giving it another shot. then i'll give it a few tries with a few different builds to see what works, and if it can be farmed. if it takes more than a few tries i just say screw it and move on. i don't want to waste too much time on farming right now.
