Default Pure Motivation - PartyWide Restoration

Attributes:

Motivation: 12+1+3
Leadership: 12+2
Spear Mastery: x+1

Signet of Synergy - Target other ally is healed for 40-100 Health. If you are not under the effects of an Enchantment, you are also healed for 40-100 Health.
Anthem of Flame - For 10 seconds, the next attack skill used by each ally within earshot also causes Burning for 1-3 seconds.
Song of Restoration - For 10 seconds, the next time each party member within earshot uses a Skill, that party member gains 40-88 Health. This is an elite skill.
Aria of Restoration - For 10 seconds, the next time each party member within earshot uses a Spell, that ally gains 40-100 Health.
Ballad of Restoration- For 10 seconds, the next time each party member within earshot takes damage, that ally gains 30-90 Health.
Finale of Restoration - For 10-35 seconds, whenever a Chant or Shout ends a target ally, that ally is healed for 15-75 Health.
Mending of Refrain - For 20 seconds, target ally has +1-4 Health regeneration. This Echo is reapplied every time a Chant or Shouts ends on that ally.
Res Signet/Signet of Return/Sunpear Rebirth Signet - For when a partmember dies

Suggested skills for your heroes:

Watch Yourself / Go for the eyes / Shields Up / Defensive Anthem / Energizing Finale / Incomming / Stand Your Ground - any shout

How it works, start with casting Mending of Refrain on everyone, and keep this going by casting Song of Restoration and Anthem of Flame constantly. When a fight starts, keep recasting SoR/AoF/AoR constantly and cast Finale of Restoration on whoever is taking the most damage, same for the Signet of Synergy. Stand your ground should be used whenever it's up/needed.

I believe this build to work - extremely - good. Especially if you have a henchmen with a couple of the suggested skills (watch yourself and shields up are reallllly nice to have around). This build was enough heal to only pick one monk for the final missions in NightFall, which seems like a good deal to me. It keeps everyone on full hp unless there is a heavy spike, in which the monk can spikeheal. You won't really be attacking and constantly using spells, which is why I don't use any Adrenaline skills, even though some of them would fit in really well.

Thanks, I expected some more responses :X

This build is pretty "cookie cutter" really, it's easy to use, the advantage of it is amazing , it's definatly up to par to the old spirit spammer ritualist, if not better in some areas.

I don't like Mending Refrain so much because it is relatively expensive, and for what it does, a bit of health regen, isn't as useful as some other skills.

I like Energizing Finale and more of the shouts that health or give energy. Put it on your monk and he gets a lot of +3s to his energy all the time. Particularly bring shouts that end on spell use, and you make his 5 energy spells cost 2 energy, plus there is a shout that gives him 7 energy when he uses a spell (+3=10 energy because that shout ends too when he uses a spell).

And then go P/W and bring "Watch Yourself!" with no point in tactics. There you have a shout ending every 5 seconds, and +20 armour for your party too.

The whole idea is that you want chants and shouts to end fairly quickly. If the chants stay on people too long, they aren't very effective.

Here's what I've been running for a motivational build.

Anthem of Flame
"Incoming!"
"Watch Yourself!"
Ballad of Restoration (I can't believe you didn't take this.)
Aria of Restoration
Energizing Finale
Finale of Restoration
Res Sig.

No points in tactics... you want watch yourself to end quickly.

"Incoming!" last for 5 seconds... Use it when someone is being spiked or your whole team has gotten past 50% health.

You find it in the Garden. Only in the Garden.
You can do two things; make a party with someone that has the normal garden, or beat the game, which will then give you the normal garden.

That shield is pretty hot, i previewed a black dyed one, and man was it amazing.

Anyway, that shieald responds very well to dyes.
Now to finding a Req.9 Auroreate Inscriptable Aegis....

I've been using a similar build on my paragon and it's worked famously. That regen really helps vs all the degen. Combined with all the other buffs it takes a lot of pressure off the monks. Attack skills doing +42 damage with the burning is also quite useful.

I swapped out SyG with Ballad of Restoration, a skill I quite simply overlooked. It adds greatly to the global healing and works great against enemy spikes.
