A/N - Siphon Strength Build
Im always trying to come up with something different from the most common assassin builds; this build focuses on siphon strength
A/N - Siphon Strength Build
ATTRIBUTES - I use what i already have (meaning runes)
Dagger Mastery: 12 - Mask + Minor Rune
Deadly Arts: 13 - Major Rune
Shadow Arts 8 - Major Rune
Critical Strikes 8 - Minor Rune
EQUIPMENT
Shrouded Armor - For energy + the best Vigor Rune you can afford
Zealous Dagger of Fortitude
SKILLS
Expose Defenses - Hex Spell. For 5...20 seconds, target foe cannot "block" or "evade" your attacks.
Black Manits Thrust - Lead Attack. If this attack hits, you strike for +8...18 damage. If target foe is suffering from a Hex, that foe is Crippled for 3...13 seconds.
Wild Strike - Off-Hand Attack. Must follow a lead attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +10...30 damage and target foe loses 1 Stance.
Critical Strike - Dual Attack. Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +10...26 damage and results in a critical hit.
Way of the Lotus - Enchantment Spell. For 20 seconds, the next time you hit with a dual attack skill, you gain 5...17 Energy.
Siphon Strength[E] - Elite Hex Spell. For 5...17 seconds, target foe deals -5...41 damage with attacks and all of your attacks against that foe have an additional 33% chance of being a critical hit.
Shadow Refuge - Enchantment Spell. For 4 seconds, you gain 5...9 Health Regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you gain 20...68 Health if you are attacking.
Plague Touch - Skill. Transfer a negative Condition and its remaining duration from yourself to target touched foe.
Critical Strikes can be changed for a different dual attack, and Plague Touch can be changed for a skill of your choice
[EDIT]
Jungle Strike can replace Wild strike
This build as you can see from the skill descriptions is more targetted to taking on warriors, assassins, and rangers.
using expose defenses to hit any profession using evade/blocking skills
you use siphon strength on your target followed by way of the lotus and then 3 attack skills(BMT cripples target so it takes care of kiting) use expose defenses when target uses an evade/blocking skill, use plague touch to remove any condition on you and transfer to your target or any near foe.

I don't see Twisting Fangs, and if you're going to use hexes, why not use black lotus strike?

you dont need twisting fangs in every assassin skill bar but it is a great skill to have which can leave a foe with bleed and deep wound.

Well, i also use a Siphon Strenght build sometimes, but its very different from yours; A/any
1. Siphon Strenght
2. Siphon Speed
3. Black Lotus Strike
4. Twisting Fangs
5. Black Spider strike
6. Death Blossom/Horns of the Ox/Blades of Steel/Nine Tail-Strike
7. optional
8. optional
for Ab you could use Deadly Paradox with Feigned Neutrality, and get speed boosts from Siphon Speed(just make sure to cast it before FN) Due to Deadly Paradox it will be recharged in 13 secs, and you can keep it up for 11 secs. For arena >REZ SIG< and Shadows Refuge or something, just see what suits you best.
Attr.;
13 dagger mastery(major rune+mask)
12 deadly arts(major rune)
9 shadow arts(minor rune)
9 critical strikes(minor rune)
I think it still needs some tweeking, but it works quite good for me now.
Start of by casting Siphon Strenght/Siphon Speed (or both if you have the energy for it). Use Black Lotus Strike to get energy back from your hexes and follow up with Twisting Fangs. Your opponent will probably still be hexed so use Black Spider Strike to poison them as well and to cover your important deep wound. Finish them off with a dual attack of your choice, like Horns of the Ox, Death Blossom, Nine Tail-Strike, Blades of Steel. If you really want to overkill your opponent, follow up with Impale as well, which will be good for like another 85 earth dmg(you could use Deadly Paradox after your last dual attack, and then use Impale, so it recharge time will be halfed, and you can still use it during DP since its not a attack)
If your attacks are still recharging, or you arent doing much for any reason, try to cast Siphon Speed on enemies(gotta love that hex)
So, i hope this gives you some ideas, and please feel free to post suggestions etc.
