P/W Builds?
ive been toolin around with the new paragon, i took the warrior secondary to use watch yourself to refresh echos. unfortunately i havent really had the time to level up much so a lot of the paragon skills are as of yet unavailable to me. i was wondering what people think of the new prof and any builds that are effective.

I met someone in FA who used Auspicious PArry to charge up his Spear attacks.

watch yourself! plus echoes is king. I've been running that echo that gives you in IAS, with burning refrain (which is really good in a physical heavy team) and watch yourself to keep it going.
At the moment, (I'm level 10 btw), I'm running Barbed Spear/(spear that causes deep wound)/burning spear/25 energy IAS/Watch Yourself!/Burning Refrain/(That really good self heal in leadership)/rez sig.
As soon as I unlock more paragon stuff in pvp I'll play around with builds.

Ive been using watch yourself along with a few echoes (mending refrain, finale of restoration) and some spear attacks to have a pretty balanced party buffer/attacker. im loving the high AL, makes it a highly survivable build. PARAGON FTW

Although it may seem uncommon, I've been having a decent amount of success with Aggresive Refrain, Watch Yourself, and the two Galrath Slashes as well as the sword attack that induces damage and bleeding while not in a stance. If I can somehow cap Dragon Slash I think it'd be a downright mean combo.
I've run an entire mission from start to finish with the speed boost without having to reapply it though. Compared to the extra healing you need with Frenzy, I think 8% difference IAS a good tradeoff. (Plus leadership gives you insane energy while spamming WY).

Burning Refrain? i've not seen that on any of the skill lists, do you mean anthem of flames by any chance? :x i could be wrong tho.
I'm running something similar to lasareth apart from using spear attacks instead of sword.
I run: Agressive refrain( i can keep this up throughout the whole battle bascily becasue of anthem of flame), anthem of flame(burning seems to really hurt most monsters around me atm in the game), spear of lightning (Till I can find a better low cost spear attack), barbed spear(bleeding is always a nice degen) , disrupting throw (which works basicly all the time i target anything that casts a spell becasue of the spread burning through my heroes and henchies ect). Signet of rememdy since there is alot of conditions that monsters use so far in the game, that leader self heal skill, and the sun spear rez signet thingie.
It's worked well so far although i don't do humendous amounts of damage it's only a working build till I can find better skills.
*edit* opps.. forgot this was for p/w. I sometimes replace anthem of flame with watch your self in physical damage heavy areas or even shields up on the chance there are arrows a flying like a certain mission. >_>

2.Burning Refrain
3."Watch Yourself!"
4."They're on Fire!"
5.Anthem of Flame
6."Stand Your Ground!"
7."Go For the Eyes!"
8.Res sig
P/W

I've just been running an all paragon build with "Go for the Eyes!" instead of "Watch Yourself!" I don't usually have a problem with people being taken down so might as well deal some more damage. If I need it, Sogolon's got it (I always take him) or I could give it to Koss. Either way my echo stays on.
Here's what I use:
"Find Their Weakness!"
"Go for the Eyes!"
Spear of Lightning
Anthem of Flame
Burning Finale
Leader's Comfort
Aggressive Refrain
Signet of Return

I've been having fun with cruel spear and anthem of flame in pve at the moment. It's basically a ranged eviscerate and with anthem of flame it causes burning. Playing a bunch of physicals in pve as I'm prone to do, combined with damage inhancing shouts is a lot of fun, and I've been tearing through the game with the heroes, though I haven't gotten any bonuses yet.
I'll probably add go for the eyes! since watch yourself isn't doing that much for the team. The two monk heroes are pretty good b light monks. they also haven't been pinging for energy and no one seems to be dying, and putting spirit bond on one and prot spirit on the other works really well.
Cautery signet is not good, as I've found out. however, the paragon signet rez with a 15 second recharge is really good. better than rez sig, anyway, and better than most of the other hard rezzes out there (sans glyph of sacrifice+rez chant).

Leaders comfort
lightning spear
soldiers fury
watch yourself
anthem of flame
for great justice
go for the eyes
Find their weakness
This build has been working well enough for the entire game, the only thing I am dissapointed in is that soldiers echo does not re apply with my shouts and chants. But that would probably be way to godly to IAS 33% your whole team
but its still a great skill.

That's pretty much exactly what I was using (until my trial ran out). Add Cruel Spear to that and it's really a great build. Consistent damage, easy adren build.

Yeah, I did mean anthem of flame. Also, I was running pretty much the exact same build, with a few mods:
Wild throw (those archers that you encounter early on all run whirling defense)
Cruel spear (ranged deep wound)
I'm not a big fan of cautery signet because I always run condition removal on my hero monks, so I've never had the opportunity to use it.

yep, i'm atm using agressive refrain, anthem of flame, they're on fire, lightning spear, bleeding spear, cruel spear, disrupting spear and the rez signet. so far it hasn't failed me with me doing whoping damage, although to be honest stunning strike would by far be much better. I sometimes fling in wild throw when i know i'm surrounded by archers, been a while since any have mobbed me tho :x.
And to be painfully honest i havn't found any of the warrior shouts to be helpful. At least so far. I still have much testing to do. Only 40% of the map completed :P.

I'm using Frenzy (i want to use flurry ASAP), Spear of Lightning, Mighty Throw, Merciless Spear, "Find Their Weakness!", "Go For The Eyes!" and Sunspear Rebirth Sig.
Basically, it's really good with henchies cos they attack what you attack and so when I use "GFTE!" we do a major spike. Then with "Find Their Weakness!" shouted before "GFTE!" they get deep-wounded and I can keep deep wound on them pretty much permanently till they die with both "Find Their Weakness!" and Merciless Spear. Then the other skills just damage.
I'm thinking of changing Frenzy to another skill, can't remember the name but you attack faster and it is reapplied on you alone each time a shout or chant ends on you. 25 energy though X _ x

Correction: Barbed Spear makes Bleeding not Deep Wound.
Im trying to annoy you , lol
Heres my build that im using in Istan (havent gotten to mainland yet):
Skills:
Anthem of Flame
Barbed Spear
Spear of Lightning
Aria of Restoration
Leader's Comfort
Mending Refrain
Spear Skill(forget the name of it)
Res Sig
This works pretty well, keeps my party healthy while providing a good source of damage and conditions i.e: Anthem of Flame+Barbed Spear.

I am surprised that no one uses "For Great Justice" I think that is the skill, that doulbles the amount of Adreniline you gain per attack. Unless there is a better skill? I like it because it last 20 secs, and does not require any points in it, wich is more than enough to charge most of my skills. Along with the warriors in the party
