Default A/Rt question

so i thought i'd make an assassin, and thought mebe those Rit weapon spells would stack onto things like unsuspecting strike and make for nice spikey damage. from 5 minutes play with this combo though it doesn't look like it - unenchanted I seem to do way MORE damage than with a weapon spell on me. Does the weapon spell make my daggers "not daggers" and negate sin dagger bonuses or something? or is my cursory conclusion just wrong...

Doesn't sound right.

Did you change attributes in order to buff your weapon spells?

Brutal Weapon and the like should work fine. If they don't, then you're doing something wrong, or there's a bug in the skill. It's worth looking into.

Which ritualist skills did you use? There are a few you could try out to fit into your scheme.

I was trying with brutal weapon and leading strike. first I thought maybe the weap spell was negating my crit bonuses but I figured it out; the time I was trying it out I had some npc following me around and while I could attack a mob and get a LS in as the first hit, but in the time it took me to get off a BW, the npc would hit the mob and knock it down to under 90% health, which meant LS did like half damage. I guess this is the trade off with this kinda build; it takes tome to enchant so you don't get those twitch attacks in.

You may have hit a critical while unenchanted and then did not critical with the weapon spell on.

I think you mean Unsuspecting Strike. You can take another Lead Attack, if you're not going to be certain US will trigger.
