Anyone Notice that all the scythe attacks are "melee attacks"????
yesterday, I was playing RA cuz I need some factions for a elite. I encoutered this axe warrior using Victorias Sweep, then I'm like, what?
So I was curious, and I went to guildwiki to check it out.
Then, I realized! ALL OF THE SCYTHE MASTERY SKILL ARE CLASSIFIED AS MELEE ATTACKS, does this offer new horizon to dervish and warriors who wish do use sword or axe. As a result of this you can clearly see that many of the attacks are pretty strong with the benefit. I wonder if it is viable to make a dual weapon mastery build max out both axe or sword, and scythe
as you can see many scythe's attack involve in HP gain and condition removals
Such as Victorious sweep, allowing you to gain hp if hit foe lower hp
or twin moon sweep, or reap impurity, or banishing strike againist spirits.

I know a lot of them are Melee attacks.
However I remember some of them of Scythe attacks.
Twin Moon Strike would definitely work nice on a sword/hammer/axe/daggers

Actually, some attacks (like the elites) are scythe attacks.
All "Scythe Attacks":
Chilling Victory
Wounding Strike
Reaper's Sweep
Crippling Sweep
Lyssa's Assault
Wearying Strike
A good number of scythe mastery attacks are melee, but as you can see, its a far cry from "all" of them.
EDIT: Beat out :\ I type slow

His point was maxing out BOTH Scythe and your Weapon of choice. Ie..... Max Scythe and Swordmanship

Definetely. The dervish is now seeming like a bit less of a useless secondary.

sorry, I know it isn't "broken" per-say but I just have a strong belief that attack skills should be linked the the weapon they are intended for unless they are in the "No Attribute" section, I mean no pressure upon you guys, it's just one of my pet peeves.

It's still busted. It requires a high level of both (warrior) weapon mastery and scythe mastery. I see very few builds comming out of this. Granted there may be some Sever Gash ReapImp warriors running around, but thats about it.
Maybe someone will prove me wrong...
And they are meant to be this way. Before Nightfall actually came out (during the preview) they were all labeled as Scythe Only attacks.
