Equip them with something else, then delete them.

There's a garbage bin icon in your inventory. It's grey on the middle far right. Just drag them onto it and it'll ask you "are you sure you want to destroy blah blah weapon". Hit ok and it's toast.

I noticed the waste bin only 2 months ago (been playing since June 05) - so you are not the only one. What I used to do to dispose of such junk was to drop it from my inventory in an explorable area. When you exit the explorable anything you don't pick up is gone forever.

Thumbs up

Oh my god, i have to admit i completely forgot i had a bin too and i've used it loads of times in the past
but i've had nothing to delete recently though as i normaly just drop it out of the inventory when out of town etc.

Dropping things outside of town is usually faster - no need to click "are you sure" things. And, well, if you happen to grab the wrong item it should be obvious and you have time to pick it back up.

I'm always afraid I am going to accidentally delete a green or gold. I have a hard time bringing my self to use the bin. I normally drop n an explorable and then play for a while. Just too obsessive with fail safes I guess.

Yeah dropping things is much easier than clicking things over and over again.
