Default Ecto Drop Rate Questions

Hello everyone. I have been farming ectos for a while now and it pretty much the only thing I do with that character. When i started I would get 1-2 ectos per run, I was dual running it. Then my drops seemed to decrease after a while, so i played ended up playing the game with that character for a while. I went back after like 3 weaks and i got 3 ectos on my first solo run, and 3 my next. I have been solo running the UW for a while now and again I never seem to get any drops. My last 8 runs i have seen 0 ectos.
I have read the posts about flags and stuff but I was wondering if anyone knows if there is something with farming too much. Do drops decrease after a while. And what is the best way to get good drops again. If anyone has similar stories, and ways you got past bad drops please let me know.
Thanks everyone

Thanks for the quick reply, really quick. But do you know about how many missions I would need to do? And does it matter what campaign I do them in? Because I could just go play through nightfall. Or does it have to be in Tyria?

I've heard about that anti-farming. Just done Hells Precipice 2 times, and I've got 2 ectos after 10 runs.

2 ectos in 10 runs, that is not very good imo. So does anyone know if it matters what campaign I do the missions in?

Benjef, what do you mean? When you stop getting ectos you just go earn a title? Then after you get it you start farming again? And how many ectos per like 5 runs do you get after this?

you can do any campaign also as your not in UW, you could also do pvp to pass the time and i dont know how many times you have to do a mission but dont do the same mission more then 2 times on a row the computer pickes up on it and it wont help you de-flag for any more iformation about anti farming code go to:

It doesn't matter what you do..just do something else when your drops suck, stop farming for a while, and use the search button.

For the last part of what you said, I did use it. I wanted to know peoples experience, all the searches were peoples opinions. Just the ones i found though.
