Ok- I wouldn't even consider the necro for survivor title b/c Plague Touch requires melee... something you don't want to deliberately risk when going for survivor. I would reccomend either Monk for Condition Removal and some of the Healing Prayers, or Mesmer for Illusion of Weakness and Distortion (spike heal when at low hp, evade accidental aggro). If your warrior starts to Leroy before you have survivor, just close out of gw so that you don't die (become very familiar with alt-f4).

Choosing your secondary at lvl16?? Wow. I like Rit for getting survivors through the hard missions:
Generous is a *great* skill for emergency healing. Fast cast and big, big healing boost.
The restoration weapons skills are cheap and great for getting a little damage boost, defending yourself, and healing at the same time. You can help out your allies with them too.
Flesh of my Flesh is a nice rez, but don't use it under fire.
A R/anything should get you to level20 in good shape. Just keep a couple defensive stances handy and stay the heck away from the bosses.

Monk for Rebirth or Resurrection Chant (condition removal is not necessary)
Mesmer - condition spreader, trap master
Ritualist - Spirit Spammer, Flesh of My Flesh
Warrior - additional defense
Elementalist - defense
Assassin - teleport away
Necromancer - Toucher
FYI - Plague Sending and Plague Signet are ranged, and you can send ALL of your conditions to target (but remember if it has no flesh, it cannot bleed, be poisoned or diseased)
Also, Blindness, poison and disease can be removed by Poison Antidote - Signet from the Ranger Profession.

I think Ranger is the best profession in the game in terms of self healing and defending. I chose Rt as secondary, but I only used FoMF for rez. I got my Survivor 1 without quiting a single quest or mission.

Just go Rit or Monk for the ability to res or go Monk for the ability to remove hexes and conditions.
You shouldn't really need it though. Use a Long/Flatbow so your always out of range. Bring Dodge/Whirling to make sure you can escape. Unguent is a good way to counter degen. Interrupts save your ass. You don't really need a secondary to keep yourself alive. And all of them don't limit your ability as a primary ranger.

Thanks for al suggestions
I have choosen Monk for my seconde prof.
The problem was that a ranger has already good defense and healing.
So what sec could give a Ranger something he could use.
Maybe i will change when i come in senji's corner.
Had done no quest's before i get lvl 13.
After that i was started with quest and then it was going very fast.
Now i am lvl 19 1/2 and hope to get today the survivor title.

Survivor in Cantha is extremely easy to get, so don't stick with only defensive skills, try instead to get it playing like you would if you had already died.
For my survivors I usually choose Monk as a secondary but only for conditions removal and never ending ress, it often happens I'm the last one standing so I need to resurrect someone. I like the ability to get a use from my secondary without wasting points and Monk is perfect in this way...

Warrior or Assassin.
Sin lets you get out of there, fast, while Warrior lets you live while doing it.

I got survivor title on one of my rangers as a R/Mo, but the only monk skill I ever used was a hard rez. All you really need are ranger skills. Keep your eye on situations and make sure you always have at least one run/evade stance. If you start taking damage, use a defensive skill and try to lead the attacking enemy to your tank or simply run. As a ranger, play style will serve you MUCH more than any skill set will, whether your goal is to get a title or simply beat a quest/mission.

I don't see a real difference between sercondarys as a Ranger survivor.
I've henched my way to 450k exp on a mesmer survivor (still going! ), rarely packing more defense than ether feast. If I was playing a ranger, I'd just go cap Escape. Troll's is proabably still going to be the most efficent hel you can find, and it's hard to beat Escape in terms of defensive/running skills.
Since you won't be respawning at res shrines, monk resurects may come in handy, especialy if you find yourself henching.
