Default siphoon strenth, bugged range

It appears that siphoon strength is bugged in that it got a touch range instead of usual casting range. Either the skill is bugged or the description as some other assasin spells got touch range.

Why would you even want to use this skill in its current state anyway? Costs way too much energy.

well doesn't it give a -40 or so to attacks? It's also spammable, -40 damage will ruin any attacker, I think the energy cost is justification enough.

You can hit tons of crits on the enemy, so you get the energy back quickly. After getting used to Assassin's Promise, I really hope they increase the range of this.

You'll regain approximately 12 energy from the extra critical hits IF your target doesn't move at all, has no blocking/evade skills, AND you have 13 in Crit Strikes and 12 in Deadly Arts. You'd have to use both a Superior Rune of Crit Strikes and Major Rune of Deadly Arts to get the attributes that high if you want to keep your Dagger attribute at 12 and still do good damage.

But why are you attacking the Warrior in the first place??? You should be attacking casters. The negative damage part of the spell doesn't do anything to them. Which means you're using up your Elite slot, 3 net energy, 35 maximum health, and slowing your attacks down slightly (to recast the spell every 10 seconds) just to gain the added damage of about 4 extra critical hits over that duration. IF they don't run at all and have no evasion.

NOT worth it for serious PvP.
