2 Man (dual monk) in Fow!!!
Most of you will know the dual monk build (there are other threads about this) most people do this in the uw, but this soon gets boring doing smite runs as most things are warriors and so its really easy.
So I decided to do it in fow.
The build compromises of 2 people.
The tank (me)
1 Protective Spirit (PS)
2 Spirit Bond (SB)
3 Conjure Nightmare
4 Ancestors Visage (AV)
5 Sympathetic Visage (SV)
6 Vital Blessing
7 Essence Bond
8 Blessed Sig
max protection
11 illusion
rest divine
Holy Smiter
1 Life Attunment
2 Balthazars Spirit
3 Retribution
4 Holywrath
5 Rebirth
6 Purge sig
7 Sig of Jugment
8 Bane Sig
max smiting
max protection
rest divine
You can take more people but when I take more I find they just mess things up agroing monsters and meaning less drops.
Cast all enchants on the tank. The tank and the holy smiter should take superior runes and the relevant helm so that they can get their attributes as high as possible.
The Tank should first attack the group on the left when you enter fow.
Cast PS and SB on himself and move towards the monk.
Then cast AV and SV on himself. Attack the shadow beast with you wand and using conjure nightmar on the shadow beasts.
AV and SV will drain the monks energy so he can no longer heal and will attack the tank and die

I think about mesmers, you would simply reenchant, because 605s dont die in one attack outside prot spirit, and degen they can simply work around.

wiukdn't it be alot faster jsut using spell breaker, for mes and eles, since they won't be able to cast they will attack.... i wold chnage it for nightmare, cos if u kill the shadows beast with it b4 the monk is dead then SV won't work as effectively.
thinking about it the UW build should work with few tweaks, like maybe get the smite to cast spell breaker on u b4 u go in so ucan then cast to get a longer run of it

While this would need testing i think as long as you deal with only one mesmer you could just reenchant when hit by Shatter Enchantment.
You should none the less stay far away from the beach as ancient scales remove 8 (or even more) enchantments with Rend Enchantments. Also i think even Spellbreaker wouldn't protect you from the dragon liches, as they use chillblains.

Timberly, if your fast enough you can beat the chilblains ;p. Personally id take away conjure nightmare and both Visages and slap on Diversion. Becuase if your fighting 2 monks, neither visages will kick in and then your basically screwed.
And why balthazars spirit on the smitter? Thats quite a waste imo because the only skill requireing energy is rebirth, and once the tank dies It has no real use, unless your going to try tanking them while you use rebirth?

This is so old. We've cleared all everything to the forgemaster with 2 monks and nuker. Your holy smiter build is SO wrong. Bane signet!?!?! SIG OF JUDGE?!?! lol! Okay u must bring scourge healing and Shield of Judgement. There is also no Balth spirit in holy smiters build. Your tank is also really wrong.
This is ur build for the tank - but for ele res you must bring healing touch.
This is smiter's build. Instead of Arcane echo brings scourge healing.

Isn't it faster to use just retribution and Holy Wrath? That way you avoid the pauses while the targets are knocked down..

Bringing Vital Blessing on the Tank is pretty smart infact cus then You dont need prot points on the Smiter.. and if the smiter Has the Balthazars Spirit on the Tank then its the tank that will get the energy.. So its infact better than tank having BS and Smiter with Vital blessing

Balths spirit is cast onto the tank not the holy smiter
Shield of jugment is much slower than holy wrath + retribution as it hit about 70 while SOJ only hits about 45 also you dont know down the enemies so they attack faster doing more damage to them slevles.
Spell breaker is not need as if you are a half decent player you can recast and if you get shatter enchant on you. also its slows down the damage on you as you will not always get hit 60 from basic attacks so its better to get hit from attack that will allways hit 60 so spirit bond will heal you. Also as you are getting hit higher more damage will be done to the enemy so they will die quicker.
this build is not diesign to take on ancient slakes as here you would have to have spell breaker on the whole time as they use chillbanes and rend enchantment.

age they both can be Mo/Wa. nope u dont want them to be 55 either.
the Mo/Me builds r ok. me and a friend use our Mo/Wa's and its rather rather fast. SoJ with both Holy Wrath and Retribution with bane sig is the best combo to go with. scourge healing is not needed but is useful.

IF A mesmer decides to use Shatter Enchantment...Spirit Bond (if it's the top enchantment) will be stirpped...only Spirit bond. If the tank is Wearing 15 al Boots, Legging and Helm, and have 700+ health the Monk will wand you and they will end up killing them selfs faster than they can heal(or at leaste It was when I had 1500+hp they were wanding me for 140's)
