Not really sure if it has been done before or not( I am sure it has) but I just ran droks with my Monk.
It is a hard run and it took a couple of practice runs, but i made it. You won't make it every time but you can make it.

Yes there is a ranger that was running with me but it is clear in the pictures that he was rather behind me or he was dead.

Just to make the point. Run #2.

You will notice that in the last picture i did have a dp, but I respawned and finished the job. Darn nigthmares knocked me down in the avicare. Thats very bad if your a monk.

I think I will run forge for money now. I made a couple more runs today. I like jumping into test groups and finishing the deal. I should of took a screeny of the 2 Wa/mo dead and the Monk finishing the job.
gw043.jpg
This is the test group where I was the only one to make it threw Dreadnaughts drift and the picture above is the monk pulling the group into Rankor. Darn warriors beat me in the foot race to Droks for Rankor. Dang it!

Taking another suprised person for a run.
I think I am going to start charging now.

I am having way to much fun with this. I think I need Nightfall to come out.
First off I am having way too much fun with this. I promise i will stop posting but it cracks me up.
gw046.jpg
gw047.jpg
This is a practice run for tips that I jumped into. I beat the warrior to droks as you can see in picture #2. The worst part about this is if you look at picture #1 you can clearly see that I was the only one alive in Dreadnaughts and when we got to the Droks the others tipped Slice and told him how great he was. I couldn't believe the monk shouldered the load and beat the warrior to droks and lead the whole way and I didn't even get a "gj." Man go figure. LOL
gw048.jpg
Just another run with more happy customers.
Sorry for spamming the forum, I am just having way to much fun with this.
--edit by Tsunami Rain: please learn to update rather than spam/bump your own thread. thank you.--

Absolutely good work. Most monks who run forge use 55 hp, but doing it the "old-school" way is even more impressive. Thumbs up!

All the 6 Core classes has made it to Droks.. (even the Necro O.o) Altho its pretty nice to do it with the Low armored runners... So now we only need the Ritualist And Assassin to get there :P

idk about easily, shadow form will prevent attacks and spells but you will still get pleanty of knockdowns from worms, tundra giants, and nighmares.

I like the ranger secondary, you have plenty of running skills so for running. The reason for the warrior secondary is balanced stance. Constantly getting knocked down makes for a hard run.

I wish I could change the name of this post to Monk, The Forge Runner. I have been having a blast running groups to the Forge with a Monk. Most people think I am joking when I say I running droks. I have had others runners looking for partners kick me out when they see that I am a monk. Its hiliarous. Then when I talk them into trying it with me they tell me I am awesome. It grows tiring to see so many people claiming to be pro runners and continuing to ask for a rezone. Although there are times for a rezone, most pro runners know what to do in most of the spawns because they have done it so much. So if anyone is looking for a run to droks, I know a monk that is more than capable.

Balanced stance and then charge a little after, as balanced stance lasts a little longer then charge depending on you AP setup

forget where i saw it but theres a 'its all on the spawn' series of videos of different runs, one of them was a low level monk with only 4 skills running droks, i forget the exact level but im tempted to say 14. it was rather impressive even if the spawn 'was good.'

yeah, this happens unfortunately, when i got my level 11 ranger to amnoon oasis i found a w/mo doing a desert tour for tips, this was my 2nd rp ranger (first on another account) and i had ran it many times before on my other ranger. i ended up beating the runner to every zone and every stop, and people offered me the money but i wouldn't want anyone to steal one of my runs, especially if i was already trying to be nice and doing it for tips, so i declined everyone who offered to tip me and just left the w/mo telling him to leave desert running to the rangers.

I tried 55monk running to forge, but I never quite got the hang of it. While waiting for nightfall to come out, I might give this a try. Seems like a lot of fun. I think my monk would only need to cap Charge! for this build.
Thanks for sharing.

I think its cool when people do things that are unexpected. After playing with this I have ran all four of my characters to droks. Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Assasin. This particular build with my monk is to be a forge runner. I run droks with my monk to make a little money. I still believe that the warrior is the better choice since you can survive mistakes better, but I find myself providing the forge running service as a monk. This build was originally intended to just make the droks run. It became my forge running build.

Here is the link to the video. I did not have alot of time to compress the video to make it smaller to download. The file consist's of 4 videos, one for each area because game cam stops recording when you zone through a portal. Anyway if you have the time to download a 465 mb video, here is the link.
