The best cheapest armor is in Droknar's Forge.

Piken Square is okay, but you'll get better armor in Yak's.

Good luck.

FoW = Fissure of Woe
UW = Underworld
Kurzik or Luxon 15k or Granite Citidel armor

If you see people saying they have these types of armor, these are basically the same type of armor that you can get from Droknar's Forge (stat wise, there may be different attributes in FoW or UW, I'm not too sure), but basically, its just for looks, otherwise there is no difference between Droks and Kurzik/Luxon/FoW/UW/GC armor.

My advice is that if you want the BEST CHEAPEST armor NOW, before you reach lvl20, then you have two choices:

Either make your way to Beacon's perch and get ran to Droks to get the 1.5k max armor from there.

Or go to cantha from Lion's Arch (alot easier) get the 1.5k max armor from Keinang.

But looking at your icon image, it looks like you have canthan armor now?

I would go for a staff, is much better imo. you can upgrade it many ways and the colector staff is the best, they have 20/20 recharge and casting speed, you could put some upgrades later when you have some cah or pm me ingame I may have some cheap max upgrades for you (i need to check my storage dude first ) , staves could be upgraded with +10 armor (+5 head and +5 wraping) +60 healt (+ 30 head + 30 wraping) +5 armor + 30 healt, this could be both head or wraping or you could use +5 armor+ 20% longer enchanting or +30 healt and 20% enchanting.
wand and offhand weapon has a bit more energy (not all of them) but as necro you should have no problems with energy.

Here are two inexpensive methods:

1. Go to guildwiki.org and check which collectors (under NPC section) offer necro weapons. Farm the items that collector wants and upgrade as you move to new areas. Remember before adding mods that collector weapons cannot be salvaged, so the mod will be gone forever.

2. If you belong to a guild, buy the collector items needed for a max weapon from guildmates and ask someone to get you the collector staff/wand/focus that you want to use. Just don't ask them to go to a collector that is difficult and time-consuming to reach.

3. If you don't have a guild (or have one that isn't helpful) contact me and I will help. In-game most days 6-10pm Eastern US.

As mentioned, if your on a budget, your best bet is to get collectors items.

The ones from cantha tend to the best.

You just have to buy the materials to exchange for the item then. Im pretty sure 900g would be enough to buy the materials youd need. Most cost about 50-100g each.

The only issue then is whether or not your anywhere near the best collectors :P

Guildwiki.net lists them all and their items.
