Default Whats new????

hey... Im at work and bored out of my mind

Have there been any interesting changes for necros since I left... any buffs or nerfs?

anyway.... my account sold for $132... so atleast i got my money back for buying the two games... thank god I wasn't around for the third. Prophecies was ALOT better than factions so my guess is that this"stand alone" will be even weaker yet...

well just wanted to say whats up to the necro community and see whats new

Hey Undead,

So far, no new nerfs or buffs for our beloved Necro. Good to hear you got your money back.

While I can understand your theory, but I'm hoping the storyline will be great (even if the game play isn't).

Glad to see that you are checking up on things, even if it only means your bored.

I've heard stories that Factions was just an interim release for the real one Nightfall. I'm kind of hoping this as I found Factions PvE not that great, as if it had been rushed in it's concepts. I found the landscapes just awesome though. I think my biggest disappointment with the PvE was the fact that the quests had no real reward. Prophecies I did every single quest for the free skills, since I have to buy the skills in Factions I found no real purpose to doing the side quests and have left most of them out.

The rewards are what you make of them. I found that capping was a great reward.

I was told where Ritual Lord was (well, he gave me the wrong area of where to find RL), but I found a nice small area to cap many things. And when I went to where RL actually was, I found more capping for me to do.

Anyway, quests are repetative (well going to the same place over and over again), but if what you heard was true, that's great news.

The primary reason to complete the Factions quests are Imperial Commendations/Luxon Totems/Equipment Requisitions. I use them for Superior Identification/Salvage Kits and keys. They can save a lot of gold, especially if your farm and have many drops to id/salvage. In fact, Sup Salvage Kits are so cheap this way, I don't even carry a regular salvage kit anymore. Besides, you might still get common materials from expert/sup salvaging a white drop, but you get *more* of that common material.

edit: eh, this is kind of off topic, but when I read the comment about ignoring the Factions side quests, this is what popped into my head.
