Just wondering if anyone knew who to cap the skill "Shame" or "Guilt" from or if it's even possible to get with a Factions-only character..

I *think* you can create a Mesmer PVP Char, unlock it and then buy it anywhere (unlocked spells you can buy from any skill trader) but Im not really sure.

Since I own both I've never tried this.... but in theory I think it should work!

My advise, make a PVP char and see if you have access to ALL the spells. If you do this should work! If not I am afraid you are out of luck since there is no place in Factions to buy these....

pvp chars cannot get skills from campaigns they dont have. the skill is unusable to them, and just has a little lock over it

Both are Prophecies only

So unforuntately if this is the case as Dragons points out you are SOL

Very much a shame since these two skills are awesome especially in PVP. In PVE you wont miss them too much.

Shame and Guilt are both very good skills but there are many builds you can run without these two.

Try shutdown with Diversion/Blackout for example...

And if you need energy management Drain Enchant/Power Drain/Ins Hex are all nice options.

In fact Guilt is (very) rarely used in PvP. Shame is a good (essential?) ingredient in standard e-denial builds, but it can be replaced by an interrupt.
