All in all i recommend the build seen on guildwiki
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/W/Mo_Ic...n_Sword_Farmer

it works great as long as there is no group of avicaras standing too close to the imps. The main principe is, just to pull groups of the imps and not fight all of them. Then you even wont die if there are one or two ice golems.

A problem is surely the drop rate. I got my IDS today in the maybe 20th run. I think it's still worth farming, but only for yourself and not to sell it, because its just too much work.

gl everyone

I wanted to see if I could still do this with the old build I used before the updates and the answer is yes.

galrath
desperation
defy pain
watch y
dolyaks
ele resistence
heal sig
sprint

plate armor, +5 arm zealous sword (for mixed phys and ele damage with trolls)
+7 vs ele zealous against only ele damage.

Yes, that's the same build I use when I do solo runs but I didnt get it from wiki, I found out about that one by trial and error. The reason why I don't use that build now is because once you've solo'd 100+ times (believe me, I've made over 450k from IDS's), you tend to get bored (for me at least) and want ppl to talk to. And with that build balthazaars spirit isn't good since the imps will spread the dmg amongst the party and thus, you lose more energy than you should be gaining. In the links I provided in my previous post, I was in a 4 man IDS farm group and I was the only one to survive, that's why I posted that build (2 left and the other stayed to watch).

No offense to anyone, but I don't like to depend on wiki, guru, or any other site for builds soley because I've partied with one too many ppl that used those builds and I usually ended up outlasting them, for the most part. Besides, I'm not the type of person to wait and copy great builds from others....I'm the one that makes them :P.

Solo 55 Monk FTW~Getting there is no problem and once you learn how to keep imps at a distance they drop ultra fast. Even birds mixed in with imps are no problem...for those uber 55's However, agreed, drop rate is awful, I only do these runs to get IDS's for my friends

Oh ya, I can also do the warrior run, but, IMHO, 55 monk is faster and less chance of dying Good Luck
