W/X, W/R, W/Mo, W/Ne, W/Me, W/E Troll Farming
#1 of the most famous farming places is without doubt the Mountain Trolls outside Droknars Forge. Because I was getting bored and my favourite character is the Warrior I decided to try several builds with all the different secondary professions in the Prophecies campaign. This is what I did.

Bonetti's Defense

Dolyak Signet
Healing Signet
Step 1: Run to the cave and avoid the Avicara. When you walk into the cave and lure the Trolls. Now cast Dolyak Signet en use your Riposites. Only cast healing signet while using Bonetti's Defense or Gladiator's Defense.
Step 2: Now you can take the left or the right way. You'll face Krogg Smush or Whuump Buumbul. Krogg Smush: Kill him using your Ripostes, he'll die fast.
Step 3: Whuup Buumbuul Use Distracting Blow for his Troll Unguent and your Ripostes.
W/R

Step 2: Krogg Smush Cast EoE before going into battle so the other trolls will hurt him while dying. Make sure his health is below 90%.
Step 3: Whuup Buumbuul Use distracting blow for his Troll Unguent and kill him.

Good luck!
Well..maybe i'll try to make a W/A and a W/Rit build but its OK for now I think I hope you guys enjoyed my guide and you'll kill allot of trolls during your time spend on GW.

Doesn't it seem kind of redundant to have sever artery AND deadly riposte, as they both cause bleeding? Something like gash would add extra damge and conditions to already bleeding foes.

This is probably the most eye-candy I've ever seen for a troll farming guide =/
Very helpful for beginners, I would suppose.

Very nice, but I like this axe build:
Cyclone Axe
Whirlwind
On Your Knees!
Gladiator's Defense
Bonetti's Defense
Healing Signet
Armor of Earth
Sprint
16 in Tactics
Rest in Air, Earth
A Zealous Mod is a must.

Okay I have all the spells you listed for W/N and this is the 3 build ive tried farming trolls with and I have failed again. I always get these damn trolls to half health before I die. I use rotting flesh and spam riposte / deadly riposte and use my signet when I need to heal myself and then I use victory is mine to regain health but I still die.
I have 510 or 520 hp with a +30 vigor rune and I am wearing full 1.5k plate with 3 dmg abosrb runes and the ones you listed there and I also am using a fiery dragon sword 15-22 dmg 20% dmg increase.
I've also never really farmed this way by gathering all these mobs so im new to it but I dont think its that hard..any help please?

I use a +5 armor mod for my sword. The W/N build is one of the hardest so you just need to practise. Try to lure a part of the group; sometimes they split up in 2 groups and that should be much easier. Also make sure that all the trolls are infected with Disease so ViM! has his maximum effect. Otherwise, try one of the other builds the W/E is one of the easiest. Good luck!

PS: Maybe I can help u when i'm on-line.

I guess my guy only has 510 hp with a minor vigor enchant, would getting a +3 tactics be worth the -75 hp since my guy doesnt have a major vigor rune? Because at the moment these trolls hit me very very hard..i think they hit for about 20 dmg.

I've Gladiator armor which means I've 80+20 armor vs Physical. U've 90 vs Physical if i'm right..I also have a shield with -2dmg while in a stance. I only have a helm with + 1 tactics and a major tactics rune on it. So just buy a major rune and u should be OK. Make sure Dolyak Signet is always on.
