Energy Storage Elite skills which is most useful?
Ok i have both Factions and Proph but i still can't decide on what Energy Storage skill would be most useful
My atts are set at 16 fire and 15 energy and I either weild my Ragos staff or my Koosuns Staff so what skill should i take?
Energy Boon?
Ether Prodigy?
Elemental Attunement?
Ether Renewal?
imo Energy boon is good at instant energy plus it cant be stripped and it doesn't have to have me cast anything

I'll say Ether Prodigy for now, because it's the most used skill. I'll edit this post with more specific details about the other skills^^.

Ele Att and Ether Prod are probably the best ones... If you're against mobs where there's lots of ench removing, prodigy would be the way to go.

In order for Ether Prodigy to outweigh Energy Boon, it will need to last for at least 9 seconds. If the skill is spammed say... 30 seconds at a time (just by waiting out exhaustion) then Prodigy would be the way to go. The good thing about energy boon... i suppose, is that you don't have to wait that whole 9 seconds... there's some benefit in that.
I heard that Ether Renewal used to be really good... actually it used to be too good, then it got nerfed... that skill is really difficult to pull off effectively.
Elemental attunement can be pre-casted, which may save you a bit of time while you're in mid-battle. Unfortunately, if you ever wanted the chance to use this skill with other professions, you'll just luck out then wont you :P.

I would say it should depend on what skills you are using. If they are high in exhaustion then I would go with E-Attune. If it is just other skills then Ether is the way to go.

I honest to goodness believe Glyph Of Energy is a huge asset. It recharges fairly quick, so you can spam it in alot of your spells...it eliminates exhaustion from your next spell and takes 20 energy off the required energy. So for instance, meteor shower only costs 5 energy and no exhaustion from it. of course this is just me...

Depends.
Meteor Shower spam: Either Glyph of Energy, or you want Glyph of Renewal instead of elite e-management.
Obsidian Flame spam/spike: Glyph of Energy.
No stripping: Elemental Attunement.
Any other place: Ether Prodigy.

i'm a fan of ether renewal, for the silly (in my experience, upward of 130hp -- about 1/4 my health -- per spell spammed under a decent number of effects) healing in addition to some e-management.
glyph renewal if you want to echo/spam stuff a ton...
for non-specialised management i suppose e.attune is a good choice.
SO once again, as usual if not always, nothing is most useful it just depends on what you want to do. sigh

I find ether renewal best when soloing, and ether prodigy is amazing when running missions. The thing I like about ether prodigy is that you don't need anything else with it, so it frees up a lot of your slots. Some of the other energy skills, ether renewal included, almost require other skills to make it really effective (ether renewal requires lots of enchantments, etc).

Dual Attunements work well in most cases, if your running in a place thats likely to have energy denail or enchantment stripping or your using spells from outside the element, then Ether Prodigy looks better.
Energy Boon just sucks... a bit like Second Wind really.

Personally I find dual attunements to be the best way of managing energy as an elementalist. Elemental Attunement + <element> Attunement mean that your skills are almost free...when the attunements end I run to the back of the fight, re-apply them and rejoin...which can be a pain from time to time.
I've never had the chance to play with ether prodigy.
Haa haa - I used to love Energy Boon...it was the second elite skill I ever got, but being a noob back then I didn't realise what else was out there...I notice Headmaster Vhang uses this skill.
Second Wind also makes me chuckle. I know it's not an energy management elite (just No Attribute) but it seems that most of the skills which cause exhaustion are elite....in which case you cannot use Second Wind....since it is Elite! Also rather ironic that it itself causes exhaustion!
For me, Elemental Attunement ftw!

It's not ironic, that is the point of Second Wind, the more often you use it, the more energy you get, while reducing your max energy. Its a trade off, and you have to keep it in balance, or you end up with no energy, or way too much exhaustion.
If it didn't cause exhaustion, it would be overpowered, as you could use your expensive exhaustion skills with it to fuel the rest of your skills.
