well the thing is, you could take your time doing that or you could just rezone and hit the ones up front rather than travel all the way around.
Besides, I find that my inventory fills up quickly with this run so that is all that I need to do.

Great guide! now I just need to get my 55 to cantha
but i've got a question: the major rune has now been brought to -35hp, right ? well, everybody knows that 75 - 35 = 40
that's a prety big difference between major and sup huh ? so I think it won't take long before a-net will lower the sup runes. making 55 a real rarity ( I mean, no new will come I bet there are over 50.000 55's atm )
so wouldn't it be smart to buy 100K on sup monks atm ? I bet that if they get nerfed to let's say -50hp, the prices of a -75hp will go 80K or more. ( the only thing that would make the prices lower, are the solo UW w/n builds >< I think it won't take long till they get realy realy popular )
just an idea...tell me what u think of this

Not a bad idea, however, the idea behind the major rune update was that not alot of people were using major runes because it took of so much life. Everyone used to use either minor or superior runes. Anet just wanted people to start using major runes more as well.
It could be useful, however the update may never happen. It's your call.

I've had some luck with the undergrowth outside braur with my 55 necro, if the run goes off it's fast and nice change of pace, but occassionally, either the kirin or the gaki, not sure which are using a skill that is one hitting me. Doesn't happen very often, and it's def a fun change from farming trolls.

I'm very confused, as I only got factions yesterday, how do you get to arborstone? Playing through missions? Also, on a Cantha map I saw that arborstone was in kurzick, do you have to be on the kurzick side or something like that ? Sorry if it's a stupid question.

yes, you play through missions to get to arborstone. Yes it is in Kurzick side, no you don't have to be allied kurzick to get there, but you will want to spend all your luxon faction before going to kurzick to keep from losing it or wasting the kurzick faction that you are going to earn.

Just Brought my 55 monk to Cantha
I just brought my 55 Monk to Cantha and read this thread so I tried out a few spots. Here's what I got in about 1 - 2 hrs of farming each area.
Tanglewood Copse - Got lotsa tanned hides, blue/purp/gold runes. Got a gold amber bow and a gold staff. All this in about 1 1/2 hrs.
Naphui Mission - Got basically nothing in abt an hour. Lotsa junk drops, a few purp weaps and lousy chests. Got bored waiting for mish to start each time I died from the star lights.
Wajunn Bazar - Here is the best area IMO. In about 2 hrs of farming just those first 6 Jade Brotherhood as soon as you get out of the Marketplace, I've gotten lotsa blue/purp/gold runes and cloth & silk. I got a jadite shard, a gold staff, and a gold platinum blade that salvaged a 20/20 sundering sword hilt. I sold the hilt in under 2 mins for 65k!
Yes, it's a pain going in and out of the Marketplace just to get to these first 6 all the time, but they're the ones that dropped the best stuff when I did the area a few times.
Keep posting new hot spots cuz farming is far from dead in Cantha.

Armor?
I'm curious on what Armor I should use. I'm thinking of Tattoos.
I think you mentioned that you used a Divine Favor Scalp. Is that recommended?
Thanks.

Got myself a new set of Ascetics' Shing Jea armor. Only cost like 500G. But still have the expected energy. Plus, looks better on a female monk than tatoo.

Any advice for farming Arborstone with a 55 N/Mo?
I have: Curses 16, Blood Magic 5, Soul Reaping 5, Healing 9, Protection 9
Protective Spirit, Healing Breeze, Guardian, Spiteful Spirit, Shadow of Fear, Mending, Balthazar's Spirit, Essence Bond
I have tried also with Insidious Parasite and Reckless Haste in place of Guardian and Shadow of Fear.
When I try: I can get one spawn, and they don't hit enough to give me enough energy to maintain my enchantments and keep the curses up on them.
If I get more than one spawn, then I will get mobbed until they overwhelm my regen with conditions or just sheer numbers.
I've been able to kill exactly six wardens here out of over a dozen tries. It feels like a complete waste of time.

you can make a filefront account and host it on there (some people here prefer that over almost all other sharing sites).
I'd suggest using gamecam unless that is what you are currently using now.

It will be insanely hard in arborstone to fight wardens - I die often, except that I have the knockdown of SoJ to keep me alive, and bonettis can help in the recharges. Divine Favour is also insane. To cut a long story short, I suspect 55necro's can't farm arborstone.

I'll give this build a try, then:
PS, HB, DE, SS, IP, Mending, BS, EB
If it works, great. Hope the spiking from DE ends the fight fast enough that I don't die...
And the answer to that is...no way in hell. Perhaps you could explain your strategy? Desecrate recharges too slowly to provide much damage, nothing provides additional mitigation. I'm still either fighting one spawn and run out of energy, or three spawns and die from spikes. I would like to know how this becomes VERY easy.
