The build has a problem, it can't handle the coldfires... you can't use burning speed because you will die and flame burst costs to much energy...
any advice?
edit: why retribution? it only deals 9-12 dmg... isn't that a waste of a slot?

Lets review: Retribution deals 9-12 dmg.
9-12 dmg per hit.
Let's say an aatxe hits you 10 times for 12 dmg each.
Well, that gives 120 dmg. A considerable amount. Like Makosi mentioned, it really adds up.

Anyone who says this works well, or is reliable is puffing out their plumage - the concept is great and I was actually tinkering with Burning Speed in Talos a few days before seeing this post and got very excited. It works some of the time and I was able to drop the first few groups of Aatxes, but there are definite issues - you dont have any way to energy drain graspings etc and if you get a double nightmare spawn and get boxed in by the cows of doom you just lost 1k - thank you - come again . I tried putting in something like fireball for direct nightmare targetting but without a visage on you good luck firing one of those off while the cows are mooing.
One thing I will say though and its time more people realized it - the 55 is dead - make way for the middle of the road bonder (which you people really should stop calling the '600')
Shin Jea Armour feet legs and scalp, 3 superior runes (hence middle of the road because your hp is halfway betw 55 and 600) the core build Balthazars, Essence, PS and SB - you need nothing else to stay energized and on your feet. For UW add Spellbreaker, Bonettis, Blessed Aura and Executioners Strike put a totem in your hand set Axe to 9 in amongst your other attribs, axe the nightmares yourself and then stand there all day while your SS partner clears the mob (you can also drop back into bonettis and Axe slow non-hitting cows, etc to speed them up)
And if you want to argue the 55's case lemme give you some simple math healing breeze one second, spirit bond 1/4 second - average interrups per run healing breeze - 3 or 4, spirit bond - none.

umm....complaining of inter and daze from grasping....pull the first 2 aataxe and the 1 aataxe that patrols over and the 1st grp of grasping together..3 aataxe wil easliy keep ur energy up...if u dont spam skills when not needed...grasping die first..then pull the next grp of grasping and 3-4 moreaataxe depending on patrols around mid....then pull the 2 from top of stairs(the fleet of 5 stairs...in mid of room) the last grp of aataxe(means u will have 4 aataxe) around that half circle...and the last grp of graspign together....then the last 2 aataxe's that r on the longer fleet of stairs....there owned grasping wont inter u at all not enough of them where skull crack hits u

There's an Edit button for a reason.. but for cold fires you can evade ALL groups, you just gotta know their paths.

I gotta agree that this build is simply too unreliable for UW. Graspings can still interupt your SB or PS from time to time no matter what tactics you employ. Personally I would suggest running this build with either a N/Me or R/Me and simply using your damage output as a way to speed up the run.
Also, in response to Zenoda, I honestly don't see why you would put 9 attributes into axe just so you could run around and axe down some nightmares when you could just wand them using a staff/wand that requires the attributes you already use for your skills instead.
