Unhappy Is there another way?

ok welll this is basically the story,..while in fow the w/mo starts bossing us around so we stand back as he goes to aggro/tank so he has them all together and then starts shouting at me to nuke now of course i was already in the process of doing that,.soa anyway i go to nuke and make sure my aggro bubble does not collide with his or the enemies now i have tried this a few times from so many different angle but i find that if i cast metoer shower, i go quite close to the the warrior's aggro bublle BUT i notice i am actually on the rim of it soin the end i get shouted at for being a stupid idiot and when i try to explain the whole thing to him he says shut up.,,,so am i an idiot,..and if so is there a way to nuke from farther?

Sounds like the Tank is a bitch here. But to make sure you are at max distance: When you are going in, just press the key you got shower on. then your character will move in and cast from max range. If the tank complains now, he can't, cause if he wants nukage, he has to have you that close. after you have let out your load, step a bit back.
But again, seems the tank is the missing link here, you're NOT an idiot. If this happens again, you tell him to shut up, and let you nuke

For most skills the range is the edge of the aggro bubble. Bow attacks can be further and a spell started on a fleeing enemy can be further, but edge of aggro is normal.

I am not quite following the problem here... If the aggro has already settled on to the warrior, your aggro bubble should not interfere at all. As long as you don't cause scatter that is. A good thing would be to cast your spells and move back after the cast, then come back in for the second cast.

I am assuming you are running an echo nuke build, perhaps try to space out the nukes a little more. 2 Meteor showers followed to closely can cause scatter. Same will happen if you cast MS, MS, Rodgorts Invocation, Fireball.

Basically, check if you are causing a scatter effect...

actually it is the tank who isnt getting across what he wants. this kind of reminds me of a guild group i went with i tried to pull aggro with my tank just as in the senario but i was yelled at by the ele for not letting him aggro. to me what you did is what i love to have happen
