Ranger/Mesmer or Mesmer/Ranger
I created a Ranger/Mesmer for my time playing of the last 2 Betas. I am just curious if it would be better for me to mkae it the other way around. I am more of a Mesmer kidna in palying anyway. And would be GREAT if I had more energy. Would I get more energy if I were a Mesmer/Ranger? If you wanna know my Opinion I wanna keep my Ranger/Mesmer because I like the way she looks personaly. But would I have more energy as mesmer as primary?

I'd say go with Ranger/Mesmer, Expertise usually prevails in times of great danger and need. But if I really wanted to know, I'd test both out and see which fits my build and playstyle best.

Yeah I would say go with the armor benifit. I play a R/E and mainly use the Elementalist skills. Im not sure why people would take the Melee class as a second without the armor benifits they provide I think theyd be better off taking another casting class, but that is just my oppinion everyone has their own.

If you're playing a ranger as you're secondary you shouldn't be thinking about using a bow.
You need to look at Wilderness Survival to see if there are 3-4 skills in either line you might want to take.
If not, you need to stop thinking about playing a ranger.

Depends on what you want out of the Mesmer. I use Mesmer as my secondary and have gone from stealing energy to using domination magic. If you want just the energy bonus, go with Mesmer as your secondary and put points in Inspiration magic and use Energy Tap. That is one strat that I would use alot when I was a low level and coundt cast very many Elementalist spells without running out or energy. Ether Lord can also be useful if you are Out of energy and quick boost.

Cool guys, thanks. I just can never use teh spells/skills I want I have to wait. Like, if I am in PvE, not PvE I use power spiek instead of backfire to consereve energy. Like its also good because my group usaly owns the enemises totally with my mesmer support. And like, I don't know, I am getting better at using stuff only when needed because my groups usualy own alomsot without me! Thanks alot for your guys' help. I lvoe you guys here at Guru!

I am actually thinking along similar lines when I am going to make a build for release. For a PvP build, I am thinking of using R/Me or Me/R to spam distruption and energy denial spells along with Oath Shot.
Since Oath Shots recharge all my skills instantly, my casting speed would therefore be only limited to my energy level, which shouldn't be a problem with inspiration, and the Oath Shot recharge level. Problem of course...is whether Oath Shot would be Expertise or Marksmanship dependant. I remember reading something about the skill description have a typo, so it is actually linked with marksmanship rather than expertise??
