No point if i'm not gonna use any other skills then what i already get. My line-up doesn't need any complimenting skills from any other class. Plus i'ma non-hybrid kind of person.. cross breeding should be against the law! lol. No seriously, but i just feel more off of being a pure ranger. Me and my G/F are both pure rangers. I made a build for me and her. Made sure we are both different and use different attacks. I was originally a necromancer/ranger, but eh changed my mind.

PvP = Player versus Player
PvE = Player versus Environment
GvG = Guild versus Guild

Different types of playing style
PvP = you kill other actual people
PvE = you kill a bunch of computer controlled enemies
GvG = you fight another guild of actual people

When attacking. Do you have like a arrow or something appear on the screen where you have to move it and aim or is there a auto aim that does it for you?

You click the enemy. Press a skill number. Watch enemy die.

You seriously never played a real time role-playing game?
Basically, you use your mouse pointer to select a target. You point it at Bob Smith and press it, then you select one of your skills/spells to use on Bob, and press that key on the keyboard, or press the icon of the skill with your mouse pointer, and the skill then uses/casts on your target.
It's not so much direct combat like a shooter, as it is making strategic decisions that you watch play out. Its not button mashing, but rather choice making.
I hope that makes sense.

No I havn't played a Role-Playing game.. I have RPed on websites :P.
But when you say you click on the enemy is the enemy moving or do you like alternate turns or something. I hope it is like LIVE and it doest alternate. And after you click on what you to kill, can it move after that? Or does it just stand there and take attack?

I'd suggest ya head to Guildwars.com and watch a few of the movies. I truely don't know how to explain it.

I get the impression that you have played a first-person shooter or the like before.
Basically its like that. You see everything in full 3d, and everything is moving around all the time. When you first see an enemy out on the horizon, he'll just be standing there.
Once you get his attention by getting too close or by attacking him, he will come after you. As you attack with different skills, you can either just stand still duking it out, or use skills that let you move around some.
For example, if you were a ranger, you could use a skill called Pin Down, which will make the monster run slower, you could then run back, and hit him with an arrow before he got back in striking range of hitting you.
It is LIVE as you put it, it's not turn based, though you may have to wait a few seconds inbetween the skills that you use. You can't just use things back to back, because you have to manage your energy and such. Each skill or spell that you use takes up energy. Your normal attacks such as swinging a sword or shooting a bow do not, and you can so that as much as you want.
In an ideal situation, you would be with a group of people, one of which makes the monster focus his attention on him, and leave the rest of the group alone. While the monster attacks the one man, you all are free to move about and use whatever skills and spells you want on the monster to help kill it. Someone will also be hopefully healing the person the monster is beating on while you kill it.
I hope that makes sense.
