My builds this beta...
#1
Nash Skullcleaver W/Mo
12 Axe Mastery
10 Strength
10 Smiting
1 Healing
Frenzy, Penetrating Blow, Eviscerate, Axe Rake, Executioner's Strike, Sprint, Strength of Honor, Restore Life
Solid Axe build, high damage using damage boosts and increased speed. Also snare, although can be tricky to snare with 2 adrenal skills. I liked the build and racked up 521 fame using it. Frenzy is nice to use when you're not being pounded, you hit like crazy. Just spam the attack skills in order, Sprint when they run away, and watch them go down.
#2
Nash Stormwinds E/R
13 Air Magic
10 Energy Storage
8 Wilderness Survival
Lightning Orb, Lightning Javelin, Lightning Strike, Gale, Windborne Speed, Ether Prodigy, Storm Chaser, Barbed Trap
Originally I ran Serpent's Quickness on it, but with 3 spells to spam it's not really useful, you can keep chain casting them anyway. So I got some other stuff. The Elemental part of this build I think is solid, the Ranger part is very makeshift. Could easily switch secondary on it. Ether Prodigy is nice when you're low on energy, just keep spamming. I didn't take much damage from it, around 32 or so. The Exhaustion on it is a non-issue when you use it once every 30 sec or so anyway. Windborne is nice in Relic maps. Gale is nice anywhere, knock spam a Monk or the Hero, whatever.
#3
Nash Starkwinter E/Me
12 Air Magic
10 Energy Storage
10 Domination
1 Illusion
Water Trident, Shard Storm (or Ice Spikes), Ice Prison, Maelstrom, Chaos Storm, Shatter Enchantment, Water Attunement, Arcane Echo
Another nice build. Echoed Maelstrom + Chaos Storm takes down a Priest so fast it's silly. You can also use it on people, but you'd have to Ice Prison first and then Water Trident them down. Not to mention it's nice in crowded situations to drop AEs and see 20 numbers every second... Against single targets, especially relic runners, spam (echoed) Water Trident + Shard Storm and be happy. Shatter Enchantment at need. I used the +15 energy/-1 regen focus and wand as swap-in on this due to high energy costs, so I could get an instant +30 energy when needed.

Holy smoke Nash, 521 Fame points. I thought You said last Beta wasn't that great in the Tombs. Either you played every waking moment or you did some good with your axe Warrior Build.
1. Was strength of Honor worth it ? Did that give you an edge ?
2. How much damage did you do with Penetrating blow on a Monk ?
a) stationary - he not running
b) Running ?
3. Who do you usually choose for Relic Runner ? I know they should have a speed buff.
Nice builds. Very focused.

Well Strength of Honor + Frenzy is an extra 8 DPS. More damage is nice.
Penetrating Blow... In theory we're looking at 43.42 damage average, 79.92 on spike/runners. I remember getting hits like -62 on non-runners, but it's random so a few hits won't say much, the average here is more important.
Warriors are the obvious choice for relic runners. High armor + speed buffs. Rangers could work too, with their pretty high armor and elemental bonus.

Hey Nash Skullcleaver! Had a great time holding HoH with you I played the mo/ele "Please Protect me". Nice battle when we took HoH, when the the opposing team's Ghostly Hero got stuck on the stairs for awhile, LOL

I would like to ask Nash why you chose monk secondary for a seemingly nearly pure offensive warrior build. Restore Life doesn't seem to be that worthy of being a monk over elementalist, since conjure is a much better skill IMO then Strength of Honour(unless it's holy damage or it bypasses armour?). Or was it that you couldn't get a sword with a element?
Or was it the fact that it was a RP character, and you could easily switch to a paladin for PVE?
I've always looked at strength of honour and didn't see use in it, but your build seems solid, so I would like to ask for more detailed explaination.

Well, indeed I could not get an elemental hilt, nor a Zealous one. That's why I ran an adrenaline-heavy W/Mo. Restore Life is nice to bring though, since Warriors are good for ressing.

i also dont understand the decision to go smiting
i think going elem with air for enervating charge/ or blinding flash and conjure lightning would go better then your 2 monk skills.

Recommendation: Ressurect, since Restore Life is touch range, and isn't that effective with only 1+ healing I believe. Plus I think the casting time is shorter for rez.

i think he chose the better one actually. although restore life is touch range, he's a warrior so he can actually handle going up to the fallen and rezzing them w/o dying himself. this also gives energy and health to the person he's rezzing. if he rezzed them with enemies nearby, that newly rezzed person -needs- that energy and health to have a chance. i know i did whenever Nash had to rez me. they already have DP counting against them.

I see, that makes sense. I guess the base Restore Life % is high enough for it to beat Ressurect in pretty much all aspects.

Judge's Insight is too expensive, takes too long to cast, and doesn't last long enough.

Yeah, 2 sec cast is what? 50-60 melee damage lost? Useless on yourself.
I guess it shows that the intention of many Smiting skills is to cast on others..?
