For starters, are you designing this build for PvE or PvP or both?

I don't have extensive experience playing a monk, I do however read alot of the posts by the Alphas on this site.

You have a good list of staple monk spells listed. Essence Bond might be a little much as you have a -1 mana regen while maintaining it. I realize that you get mana back when your target takes physical damage.

That's the kicker, if your ally is getting focused fire by an elementalist and a mesmer, the only thing you've done is lower your mana regen. I personally would swap in something different, possibly healing seed or one of the more prominent spells monks have at their disposal.

Heal part was just discussed in another thread, if I understand correctly, you are the only one that gets the Divine Favor boost concerning the heal in the entire group, still not a shabby catch-all spell.

Divine Boon can be great as well, you just need to remember the negative to your mana regen, but if you're focusing on one warrior or party member the boost in healing would be nice.

There are a ton of builds listed under Builds Directory that you might check out. Very useful information by the folks that are die hard monks.
