um i just got the game yesterday, and i played it for like 15 min and got stuck lol. I went to the big gates and dude told me to learn a 2nd profession to get threw, so i went and talked to the other guy and he told me where to go to learn monk. (i'm a warrior, friend told me thats a good combo for noobies like me) anyways so then i walk to him, and there is option to ask him about being trained and he just tells me to go talk to some fag in another town, and kinda gives me directions. But then when i leave town in my quest log, as my primary quest it is still telling me to talk to that monk guy and the the arrows are pointing back to town. so i dunno what to do, if for me to go talk to the guy the monk said my quest log should change. so i'm soo ****ing confused can anyone help me?

you have to be level 3 minimum to get into the academy to begin with and you didnt do that in 15 minutes

first thing is to do the quests that your first trainer gives you
after completing them ask for aditional trainers and do what they say
there are 2-3 trainers for the professions
then ask about another profession which will give you a list of 6 to choose from
pick one and you will be given a trainer for that 2nd profession
do what he says than ask for more trainers in the 2nd profession to pick up free skills
every skill you get here is free while after the academy it costs a skill point and gold

follow the arrow to get whare you need to go
the arrow is your best friend

ok but the arrow just directs me back to the monk!

see if he has something new to say

if you completed what he wanted you to do you have to go back to him for your reward

if there is something else go back to find out what he wants

you should stay in pre searing for as long as you can. complete every quest you find and explore the entire map. there is plenty to do. wait till your level 7, or 8 before you go to the academy. once you go to the academy and enter post searing, well lets just say it helps to be a higher level.
