k i'm making a ranger and am thinking on like making him a serious pet tamer and like get that realy high lvl, then rest would go bow for damage. would this work? and what should my second profession be? This is just for the game not pvp.

This is just a suggestion from a person who favor's warriors and ele primary's but If you want to be a serious pet tamer go with eaither a wolf or a stalker(cat) and go for stats, and proffesion combo.
Ranger : Monk
12: marksmenship (bow dmg)
8: beast mastery
5: expertise
5: protection spells
With a pet build ull need to soly fixate yourself on pet related skills thus not really doing a load of dmg by urself. the following skills are a good start then u can experiment with new skills as they come along cuz trust me you get alot of skill points.
precision shot : marks
penetrating shot : marks
hunter's shot : marks (causes bleeding)
call of feeding : beast (pet steals health from target he/she is attacking)
call of brutality : beast (pumps your pet's dmg.)
call of interuption : beast (interupts spells that target is trying to cast)
charm animal: beast
comfort animal: beast (heals and resurects your pet)
Thats a build that i have not experimented with but have been interested in doing.

i have not tried a pet build but i would think it would be nice if you did go monk because you will probally end up healing all the time you are in battle not fighting so it would be quite good to have a pet runningn round killing for you.....this actually sounds good; i almost wana do this :P
