Viable War/Curses Builds... Another W/N Option?
Class: Warrior / Necromancer
Attributes: (cost) '+' indicates Rune attributes
Strength: 10+1 (61)
Axe Mastery: 10+2 (61)
Swordsmanship: 1 (1) [leftovers]
Tactics: 5+1 (15)
Blood Magic: 1 (1) [leftovers]
Curses: 10 (61)
Total attribute points used: 200/200
Skills: [Attribute] (Energy, Cast Time, Recharge TIme)
1) Disrupting Chop [none] (0,0,6) Axe Attack: If it hits, this attack interrupts the target's current action. If that action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds.
2) Dismember [Axe Mastery] (0,0,7) Axe Attack: If it hits, this axe blow will inflict a deep wound on the target foe, lowering that foe's maximum health by 20% for 17 seconds.
3) Axe Rake [Axe Mastery] (0,0,7) Axe Attack: If this attack hits a foe suffering from a deep wound, you strike for +8 damage, and that foe becomes crippled.
4) Sprint [Strength] (5,0,20) Stance: For 13 seconds, you move 25% faster.
5) Victory Is Mine!' [Tactics] (5,0,15) Shout: You gain 33 health and 5 energy for each condition suffered by adjacent foes. This is an elite skill.
6) Enfeebling Blood [Curses] (10,2,10) Spell: Sacrifice 17% max health. Target foe and all nearby foes suffer from weakness for 15 seconds.
7) Shadow of Fear [Curses] (10,2,10) Hex: Target foe and all adjacent foes attack slower than normal for the next 36 seconds.
8) Mark of Pain [Curses] (10,2,30) Hex: For 30 seconds, whenever target foe takes physical damage, Mark of Pain deals 30 shadow damage to adjacent foes.
PvE Mob Eating build. Victory is Mine is in full force if you can nail a mob around your Warrior with both Shadow of Fear and Enfeebling Blood as well as nail your Mark of Pain Target with the Dismember/Axe Rake conditions... ^_^ The Mark of Pain Target should be the last one standing after the whole mob goes splat which will happen if you and your whole team is using bows/weapons on your Mark of Pain Target [u did target call right? ^_^]. In a one on one conflict, this build would be the equivalent of using a sledgehammer to kill a roach, effective, but overdoing it. Hard Heavy hitters [like those damn Ettin Mobs] will be effectively neutered with the curses skills in this build...

for pvp [cast time and sheer speed considered]
same attrib points...
6) Enfeeble [Curses] (5,1,5) Spell: Target suffers from weakness for 15 seconds.
7) Rend Enchantments [Curses] (10,3,30) Spell: Target foe loses 7 enchantments. For each Monk enchantment removed, you take 40 damage.
8) Plague Touch [none] (5,1,0) Skill: Transfer a negative condition from yourself to target touched foe.
With Rend being the only easy to counter and slooowww skill in this list, this warrior is all about piling on conditions to fuel VICTORY which again keeps you alive and gives you more energy to, pile on more conditions [see the domino effect here? ^_^] Yes I know conditions can be removed, but damage can be healed so what? This build supposed to REALLY disrupt a target making them near useless for fighting [enfeeble] and spell casting [disrupting chop] with a dual snare [Axe Rake + Sprint] to ensure that you're on your target's ass like white on rice... This PvP build supposed to shut out a key player on the enemy team... [be it a disruption controller like a mesmer or a monk healer...] If you're dealing with an angry mob of melee users, then Enfeeble should at least make one of them less effective... Cast times are fast too and cheap to boot!
These are the retirement builds of the Blood Magic Warriors out there who discover later in game that dot and hot skills just don't cut it, like I discovered very recently... Those skills start dying near lvl TEN for God's sake...

I am currently 17 and I must say this is a MONSTER pve build. I might suggest some minor changes such as swapping some strength for more tactics. My Build is also for sword so your milege may vari. but my group has become adept at "stacking" monsters to allow mop to make a 180 second fight last 30 seconds. Add to that a aoe ele spell and ow....
Consider:
Bonetti's Defense - Stance
For 5-10 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block incoming melee attacks. You gain 5 energy for each successful parry. Bonetti's Defense ends if you use a skill.
Very quick way to refill power in a fight.
Faintheartedness - Hex Spell
For the next 8-37 seconds, target foe's attack speed is reduced and that foe suffers health degeneration of 1-3.
Faint/enfeeb are both fast casting and can help drop boss monsters super fast let alone a tough tank.

In the early game, I use Parasitic Bond + Faintheartedness. Enemy dies faster and blam, you're healed
