Balthazar's Spirit
I play a PvE W/Mo.
What's up with Balthazar's Spirit?
Is it linked or non-linked?
I am troubled to hear its linked but NOONE has figured out what the linked attribute points contribute to it.
Is this a one-hit wonder enchantment?
Thanks in advance for your input

Linked, but the link has no effect whatsoever. You'll get the same benefit at 0 or 15 attribute lvl.

That's insane, but quite beneficial to a healing tree w/mo.
Do you think this will be addressed one way or another by Anet soon?

Why would it need to be addressed? There's a few skills of this nature, e.g. many Mo/E use energy glyph but don't (can't) put points into Energy Storage.

Than it should be unlinked, period.

Forgive my ignorance.
If spells are linked to attribute trees, then they benefit from additional attribute points.
If they are avaialble but receive no attribute benefit, then why are they linked?
For example, Frenzy, the warrior skill, is available to primary and secondary warriors. It is unlinked to any attribute tree, and receives no attribute benefits.
I fail to see the difference between Frenzy and Balthazar's Spirit, besides the fact that Blathazar's is misrepresented as a protection prayer linked spell, Unless there is a benefit which has not yet been discovered.
Your thoughts on that?

Irregardless of the attribute level, Balthazar's spirit only gives one strike of adrenaline and 1 energy for each time you are damaged, I tested it.

Thats my point exactly GOKU.
Thanks for replying.
If the Spirit cannot be modified by attribute points, and is available to ALL primary and secondary monks, then why is it linked to smiting prayers?
It should just be general, like the monk spell resurrection.......no?
PS: Is it just an oversight, like using the word irregardless, or is it intended by Anet?
No diss intended GOKU. Irregardless is some sweet slang.

MWAHAHAHAHAHA I actually used it on purpose to see if anyone would pick it up lol, and yes it is intended I suppose, if anyone found some combo that was so leet it needed nerfing :/ but it probably doesn't matter if it is linked or not as it would not change the dynamic of the skill at all. Bottom line: It doesn't matter where the skill is placed since it will always do the same thing, so why the big fuss over linked or not? lol

Not a big fuss.
Just puzzling that it seems Anet intended to hide it on puropose from all non-smite tree monks, like it is a leet find.
