jack of many trades...
Hello,
I have seen a lot of builds with 3 skills around 10 or 11. This is for discussion, but what about a warrior that is good at the weapons, not great, but he utilizes the best adrenaline skills.
For instance someone could have a sword set in f1. You could have sever artery and gash which makes someone bleed and have a deep wound. While you are fighting you are also building up adrenaline for some favorite ax skills, such as axe twist which makes a deep wound a weakness. You could also have something like executioner's strike. After using these someone's adrenaline is going to be really high so maybe you could switch to a hammer (you would only have to get to level 4 to use this effectively) and use the elite skill that knocks all foes down.
So you start off with your faster weapon and skills that take less adrenaline to use. As your adrenaline builds you move toward your axe to try to give someone a weakness (which helps your defense) and higher adrenaline skills. Perhaps you could combine this with a defy pain elite skill.
This fighting style isn't based so much on one's skill in weaponry but on utilizing adrenaline.
I haven't tried switching weapons in the heat of battle and I don't have a computer with me right now (I just ordered a new one). Do weapon sets change fast enough to be able to do this? Does adrenaline build for a weapon skill even if that weapon isn't equipped?
This would give someone 5 adrenaline based skills.
2 sword skills
2 axe skills
defy pain
for great justice to charge adrenaline faster
healing signet
vital blessing or bane signet (depending on tank or attack)
sword 9- 48
axe 6- 21
strength 10- 61
tactics 4- 10 (to get a decent shield)
healing 9- 48
188/200 pts used. there is still room to upgrade axe more (could be 7), tactics (could be 6), you could get your hammer up to 4 to use a good hammer (I believe 11-17 damage and the elite skill that knocks every down), you could also improve smiting or protecting prayers. Is moving up those two 9 skills a point or two worth having a horrible shield because of no tactics? Is taking advantage of adrenaline worth keeping a secondary weapon skill at a decent level?
