Not like UW trap groups need any more power, but this build dawned upon me as being pretty fun. I have this thing for spreading conditions and as I was looking through a list of Elites for my Me/N to cap, I looked at Virulence and Fevered Dreams and came up with this build. I suppose this could be used for PvP as well, but with less effect considering there is less bunching, especially when your opponents notice your rangers all hanging back as if waiting for you to walk up to them...
Anyway, the idea behind this is to lay your traps as you normally would. Someone (one of the R/Mos) lures the Smites or Aatxes or whomever towards you. As your foe is running towards you, throw on Fevered Dreams. Once they hit the traps have your R/N throw on Virulence.
Admittedly, 90% of the time the smites or aatxes are dead within a 1-2 seconds so chances are you wouldn't even be able to get Virulence off.
I guess this build is more geared towards a more fun way to trap the UW. I'm sure most people would just rather have the R/N and R/Me bring spike trap, change their secondary to monk (for rebirth), and forget the proposed build, but well I just think this'd be fun.
