Monk, use heal area and individual heals until you get the necro spells to keep them alive.

Monk secondary sucks, you have spend a good deal of points in heal just to heal them, then they degen back to what their life originally was. I geuss arcane echo veratas sacrifice and use blood of the master every so often, in this rare case, pips > instant heal

Verata's Sacrifice is the best way to be honest, with Blood of the Master.
A Mo secondary may be good to help you keep your health up while you cast all these sacrifice spells.
I have heard good things about R secondarys with Healing Spring.

Spring works pretty good for bone-fiends while you're fighting but for the army on the go Heal area or Verata's/BotM are much better choices.

you want max death and soul reap or even it out between soul reap and curses if you want to use spiteful/mark of pain (you want these two for UW farmming), but I find doing that costs a good deal of energy so I just use 16 death and 15 soul reap, I get an army started by bringing just lisa and alesia in grenths footprint area that is before you enter the furnance, then I kill some monsters and build up an army and move on to the next group etc etc using bone fiends since they all pretty much target the same guy and easier to heal/keep alive while arcane echo veratas sac and using BOTW after finishing up making another minion and farm greens and such

This is how I did it:
----------------------------------------
Hero:
deathmagic: 16 (with superiour rune of deathmagic)
soulreaping: 12 (with minor rune of soulreaping)
healing: 9
----------------------------------------
Extra:
Minor Rune of Vigor
----------------------------------------
Skills:
1. Deathly Swarm
2. Deathly Chill
3. Verata's sacrifice
4. blood of the master
5. animate bone horror
6. animate bone fiend
7. healing [Monk skill] (swop for offensive spell if soloing)
8. heal area [Monk skill]
----------------------------------------
Wishlist:
- Superiour rune of vigor (yeah I know, that 55K.. *sigh)
- Still trying to find a Staff wrapping or head with a +1 deathmagic, this way I can get my minions up to Level 19!!!
----------------------------------------
When farming you dont have to concentrate on keeping all of them alive, aslong you have enough minions to kill whatever you encounter. As soon as these enemies are dead, make new ones.. Keeping the circle up and running throughout te levels. I usualy make it with about 9 or 10 minions, don't need more for farming I think. My max sofar is 37 minions at once :P

I'm pretty sure Vigor doesn't stack with itself.

30+ minions!
WOWZA
On a good run, I can scramble together 10-11 at most by using my level 16 death magic along with BotM and Ver's Sac. To hasten their killing speed tho I use Well of Suffering. Seems to do the trick but seriously how 30+ minions do you wish to share your builds? email me them at [email protected] plz I could use the help.

So you farm SF in a team of 3? I wouldn't mind trying myself if it works.

I'm interested as well. If one MM and 2 hench monks could farm SF, all greens for yourself. How do you initally build your army outside to get in, and once in, same question?

I prefer a N/R...my setup is as follows
Blood of the Master
Verata's Sacrifice
Bone Fiend
Deathly Swarm
Healing Spring
Winnowing
Favorable Winds
Rez Sig
This build gives your fiends +10 dmg while healing spring is healing them. I take this SF and Oro farming ALL the time and i have to say, without the spirit your fiends may manage around a 14-21 dmg on the summit. Mine do around 28+ dmg and kill them fairly fast. I have tried the N/Mo MM and must say i was quite disappointed in it. Heal Area is a complete waste of energy IMO. 10 energy for 110 health just isn't worth it. I prefer Blood of the Master since it heals for 122 health at 16 death magic and you should already have Verata's on for the 10 health regen which is practically good enough. The most i have ever maintained SF and Oro farming is 34. And at 34 fiends with 30+ dmg each you could imagine how powerful this build is.

if you want to keep minions alive. go with another necro. 2 times veratas sacrifice and blood of the master can keep so many minions alive. you won't believe it
