Default The R/W "Thumper" without a pet

Ive gotten slightly bored of R/W's spamming Ferocious Strike and Hammer bash, so heres another idea for a R/W.

Irresistable Blow
Griffons Sweep
Hammer Bash
Crushing Blow
Distracting Blow
Tigers Fury
"Charge" {E}
Ressurection Signet

The main point of the build is to be able to get damage (and possibly knockdowns) past any enchantment, while also assisting other people in the team.

"Charge" is a really wonderfull skill to put on a person like this, it not only lets the ranger keep Tigers Fury on *and* run faster, but it works great with another Warrior. If you have the Ranger spamming "Charge" as often as you can, it can even help the Monks kite should they get in its range. (It has great utility value in things ranging from Relic Runs to using split teams in GvG)

My only concern is that the Hammer Bash wont charge fast enough to be viable. In that case, possibly one can switch it out for Wild Blow, and then remove Crushing Blow for "Watch Yourself"?

In any case, this was just an idea of a R/W not using a pet. Your comments are always appreciated

Stats? Also, it seems like this build doesnt use the blessings that the ranger has to offer, like expertise, and all the skills in its thing, along with apply poison, which is extremely useful even with low wilderness survival.

A hammer build I use when ever i hammer it up is:

Expertiese: 9+1+1=11
Wilderness Survival: 9+1=10
Hammer Mastery: 12=12
Beast Mastery: 3+1=4

Apply Poison
Irresistable Blow
Counter Blow
Staggering Blow
Tiger's Fury
Lightning Reflexes/Whirling Defence
Troll Unguent
Res Signet (could be another evasion or hammer attack)

This one works very well for me.

The stats for this build would probably be 9 Expertise, 12 Hammer Mastery, 8 Tactics, and whatevers left in Beast Mastery.

The reason a similar build will not work on a Warrior is because you cant spam Tigers Fury and Irresistable/Griffons with 2 pips of energy, not even with a zealous (which incidentally isnt as good because you attack slower anyway).

How do you evade or get healed? It seems to me like you have too many attack abilities, and not enough support abilities. All that expertise would make for great whirling defences and dirt throwing.

well, if monks arent always aptly equiped or able to heal every other person in their party, and you arent sacrificing much dps to get them, id say utility skills are extremely useful. Even when you have monks, a fighter with evasion and such almost always beats out mindless attack builds.
