Problems with my MM Build
I am level 10 and have the following stats/skills.
8 DM
3SR
4HP
Deathly Swarm
Putrid Explosion
Soul Feast
Horrors
Fiends
Heal Area
Healing Breeze
Vengeance
I do know that I want to get Verata's(spelling?) sacrifice, and Blood of the master, and taste of death but what else would help me keep my minions alive along with not killing me in the process? Also armor at droknars which should i get?

currently, it's pretty hard to keep the minions alive. once you do get those skills, it will get much easier.
i would add death nova, so that the dying minions still have some use.
as for armor, you will probably have a high soul reaping, so you won't need scars (just my opinion).
either go with tormentor's or scars.
and dark bond is also inportant...

Getting the verata's <x> skills is pretty easy, i faught my way from drok's thru ice dome to copperhammer mines at lvl 7 with a team full of henchies.
it does take some persistance, as you will die pretty much on every encounter with a group of mobs, and the stupid healer henchies will run to res you instead of keeping the other lvl20 henchies alive, which will only result in your repeating death and having to fight pretty large mob groups while you all have 60%DP, but yeah. it /is/ satisfying when you can summon an army of 20 bone horrors in the ascalon missions and rip thru the charr army like they were butter and you're a hot knife.
plus it adds to the "damnnnn O_O" effect when your team mates see it

You can get all of Verata's spells much earlier, in Kryta. Just goto Galrath's Castle, but WITHOUT the Galrath quest.
Verata herself will appear and you can capture them directly from her.

for armor....droks scars are very ugly, along with the tormentors.... the new torments from grotto isn't bad(females is much nicer looking), but my favorite is the 15k necrotic.... or the 15k scars from grotto.... i know the 15k doesn't have anything better for stats, but they look so much better and its not hard to make money
As far as the MM skills....listen to Dragonblood, u can get them earlier on in the game, just capture them!

you can get verata spells for cheap from the verata statues, just kneel at the alter and the spirit of verata will come out, then pay the 100 gold for a blessing and the blessing will be all the verata skills

What?
Verata Statue? Do you mean Grenth's Statue?
You can unlock all three Verata's spells for 100 gold???? I'd have to see that to believe it. Can anyone else confirm this?

Necro's really come into their own in the later parts of the game. I used N/E and was basically an Ele until the desert.
Once you get all your attribute points and some elite skills, the Necro in you will start to take over. (Your voice will change, you'll have funny feelings for the undead, etc)
