Mass enegy denial Team build - Critique please :)
w/e - eviscerate, executioners strike, shock, frenzy, sprint, warriors cunning, conjure lightning, res sig
w/e - eviscerate, executioners strike, shock, frenzy, windborne speed, warriors cunning, conjure lightning, res sig
me/n - shame, mind wrack, energy surge, signet of weariness, mantra of flame, energy burn, necrotic traversal, res sig
me/e - shame, mind wrack, energy surge, signet of weariness, mantra of flame, energy burn, grasping earth, res sig
r/me - qz, greater conflag, dust trap, flame trap, barbed trap, debilitating shot, mantra of resolve ,res sig
life bonder - elemental resistance
healer - mantra of flame
healer - mantra of flame
The idea is for the mesmers to each get a seperate monk target, the warriors get another monk. The ranger also uses debilitating shot on the monk left without a mesmer after setting up spirits and trapping them.
Quickening Zephyr drains the enemies energy.
Grasping earth is used in place of a ward and will only have a recharge of 15 secs with qz up.
Any crits are welcome and I hope i can improve this build .

i know the spirit with the mantra thing seems reliable (i used the same idea in a monk team), but the spirit will get killed by the enemy team very fast... i would just use ward vs elements if you need the protection...
also - your trapper will run out of energy really fast with no staff, since he isn't only trapping... he is using debil shot every 5 secs...
but i like the build like i like any mesmer surge build... you can't go too wrong.

I would just have the r/me do debil and energy surge maybe dust trap for iway.
I wouldn't use a bonder in tombs - maybe i'm off on this but blessed sig is easy to interrupt.

Umm... ignore this guy.
To top off your energy denial, you might want to consider Fear Me! for your warriors. If you're building up adrenaline quickly (ie frenzy), then you can get some pretty good energy drain out of this, particularly if they're close together. Not like what it used to be, but Fear Me! is still pretty good.

Your under qz, so a few suggestions>
Fear me!, and for great justice! in your utility slots. You dont want fearing to mess your adrenaline intake totally, and im not fully sure on how much fgj! will help, but on half recharge you have it up quite a lot of the time, and the effect is reasonable. Perhaps To The Limit! instead, whichever one works best.
qz needs oath shot [e] to maintain it, otherwise as doleo said its going to get taken down straight away, and your then in trouble. greater conflag isnt required. I suggest maybe running either physical or elemental resistance on your monks instead, whichever you deem the bigger problem - wariors/ranger/elementalists.
Other good skills under qz are savage and distracting shot. I dont know whether this is gvg or tombs but for running flag/relics storm chaser is a good skill under qz, the energy is helpful, but the +25% more so...
for your mesmers, may i suggest mantra of inscriptions at 15 inspiration preferably. Thats another 50% cooldown on top of qz, which means sow has a 7.5s cooldown, plus-sing in casting time and its just over 3 pips aoe energy denial, and of course its very cheap. With that, pick up purge signet (perhaps), and leech signet (11s cooldown, which is acceptable at +15 energy a shot - easily more than 3 pips, more than most elite energy management), then plus on energy burn, thats another 3 pips targeted, and then energy surge on one mesmer and martyr on the other. Maybe have the non-martyr go /n for shadow of fear or similar for vs iway if its tombs.
Apply poison for the ranger. Its fairly cheap, and the degen combos quite well with the energy denial. Overall, with the set up above, the two sows are -6 pips aoe, then debil shot is another -6 on a target, then energy burn on the two mesmers is another -6 overall. Combined with the added cost of skills under qz and the interrupts from distract/savage/leechx2, etc, and the battles should be over quick with 2 evis characters.
Actually, take out surge on the me/n and put in bIp. Your monks will love it under qz and your ranger could probably do with it if they ff on the spirit and he keeps needing to recast.
EDIT: And i forgot, the fear me! should work out at around 3/4 pips aoe...

Thanks alot for your input everyone, I really appreciate it. I realise now that I was too determined to use greater conflag and mantra of flame successfully, the changes suggested make the build much more flexible and effective.
Rii your changes are very helpful and I will be trying this build again soon with them.
Of course, any more suggestions for changes are appreciated.
