thats what i do but my GW still runs like crap.

im got a new card for xmas but i found out that my motherboard has a PCI slot, not AGP.

does Best Buy have a return policy?

Dude, if your PC doesn't have an AGP slot, then you need to think about buying a computer made within the last 5 years.

its a brand new DELL.

I coulnt find an AGP anywhere on the motherboard!!

No offense, but you can't get a game that came out in 2005 and expect it to run on a computer that hasn't been updated since 1998.

I run a Geforce 2 with an AMD Athlon and I can put all the settings on high with little to no fame rate slow-down; I haven't updated since 2001, but when I bought the game I wasn't even expecting to get it running at all.

Lambentviper, my friend had the same problem. It has nothing to do with your PC being old, Dell likes to put in scrap motherboards and processors.

yeah i've noticed that,

but im going to best buy sometime today to exchange my AGP card for a PCI.
