All Warrior Augury Farming Build
Hey, this is a simple stance build I came up with for farming Griffons, etc, in Augury. I posted as a reply to another Griffon farming thread but there were no responses after that.
It's really simple but after trying LOTS of w/mo skill combos, I think this is the most efficient and is what I've used for weeks now.
Here's a link to the video:
http://files.filefront.com/insidious.../fileinfo.html
It's ~10 min to clear all Griffons (except Monk boss)It could've been shorter, but I killed the first group of Minotaurs. You need the Divx codec to watch.
Skills:
1. Cyclone Axe
2. Executioner's Strike
3. Desperation Blow
4. Gladiator's Defense
5. Shield Stance
6. Bonetti's Defense
7. Healing Sig
8. Dolyak Sig
Tactics: 14, Strength: 12-14, Axe: 11-13
Like I said, simple build, possibly noobish(?), but damn efficient. It's better than all warrior farmers I've watched, and everyone I've shown in game is amazed, so I just wanted to share it...
Comments please... ?

10 minutes is a long time, I can solo all the griffons and minos then go to elona and solo the minos at beginning, then solo trolls outside of droks in about 15-20 minutes. If you are soloing just griffons it should take 5-7 minutes max or it's just not worth it.

emm it seems all good but realy your missing out on the bonus from a 2nd proffesion warrior/ranger warrior/monk warrior/ele
warrior/r = u can drop eoe while your fighting (not they wont attack it) and then when they drop they drop much faster.
warrior/monk = well bonus enchatments , vigerous spirit is a great bonus , or mabye balthzars spirit, watchful spirit , mending , live vicaously.
warrior ele = well i can think of a few nice bonuses , conjure lughtning/flame bonus for the cyclone axes , mabye a aftershocks and crytal waves every now and again.

Would you mind posting your build just for curiosity's sake?
I'd be interested to see what you do differently to shave a few minutes off.
Honestly, out of everything I've tried, it just seems like a waste to me to pour any points into secondary stats (for Monk skills anyways). For trolls this won't work, but for Griffon's it does.
dont feel no pain: yea I thought of using EoE, but wasn't sure if the att pts vs dmg it does would be worth any tradeoff.. i'll have to give it a shot, thanks

Sk8borderx how long does it take to do the run with that? I'm always a bit skeptical of builds with no reqs towards the weapon I've had a similar build in progress for a couple days, all I'm missing is 11 levels and a shield

A full run for me is all the griffons and minos in prophets path, the minos at beginning of elona mission, and the trolls outside of droks. The full run takes about 20 minutes for me and I make 6-7k.

how do you make movies of your game?
Ill post a screenie of my build when I get home, but I would also like to compare time=mob ratios between builds and think a movie would be best to do this.

I guess what I should've said in the first post is the reason I use this build is because out of everything I already had tried (Monk: Strength of Honor, Mending, Vigorous Spirit, Mending, etc.; Ranger: Apply Poison; Ele: Whirlwind, Crystal Wave, Conjure X element, etc...), this build seems to be the easiest to maintain energy-wise and healing-wise and with almost any equipment & runes, as long as Tactics is relatively high.
From my experience, I think this is quicker than any build I tried with secondary damage or enchants. I also didnt like relying on Vigorous Spirit for healing because the amount of att. points it takes to get reliable enough healing to replace Healing Sig seemed unreasonable to me.
The vid is 9:24mins long, but I believe it is the max Griffon spawn you can get (~20) with plenty of Minos & Rockshoots thrown in. I just wanted to show it's easily possible to maintain yourself in as large a group of enemies you can gather while needing minimal healing skills or expensive secondary attack skills without sacrificing primary warrior atts.
BTW, I like the sword builds that use Riposte/Deadly Riposte as the main attacks & defense with Tactics maxed & no points in Swordsmanshiip, that's pretty creative.
Just my 2 cents Thanks for all the feedback.

Why do you need Dolyak sig to farm griffs/minos , they don't knock you down.
sprint
glads D
Vig Spirit
Cyclone Axe
Bonnitties
Drop dolyak unless yer going after Hydras or Giants

Dolyak Sig gives a lot of extra armor which is good for hits that leak through stances, plus you normally get knocked down after using Desperation Blow, Dolyak Sig prevents that. With high Tactics, DB gives lots of damage & a random condition.

You can't let your stances down and you can't let health drop below 50% because Griffons use Final Thrust which will wipe you out fast.

I kept them all up, and when my HP was going down I used the Signet to heal up and while doing that Bang they hit me and I died...
I'm using Desert Collectors Armor (80 armor 20+armor (Physical Attacks)) and a 85 Plate Helm.
I tried this with my 6-28 Vampric Chaos Axe because of the +2 health a hit, and +4 armor, -1 hp regen. Then I tried a Normal Chaos Axe 6-26 +20 hp. Didn't do me too good.
What runes are you using? I got a Major Tactics one so my health right now is 470 or something, maybe thats why.

I have a Sup Axe & Major Tactics rune, my HP is around 400 I think. As long as you only heal while Dolyak Sig is up & while you're in a Stance, you should be fine. Unless Rockshoots are interupting you, always try to kill Rockshoots first if they are in the group you're trying to kill.
