New Str Based Warrior ala Ranger
Ranger style builds utilize 13 exp. 12 marks. setups to maximize skill spamming while using the excess points to buff the damage using a 2ndary... I wonder if a warrior can do the same.
Note, you can use any secondary so long as you follow the 'base idea' noted.
note: these are technically different variations of a Warrior Endurance setup.
Sword Mode Warrior
9+1+3 Strength
11+1 Swordsmanship
rest to 2ndary stat
Seeking Blade
Hamstring
Sever Artery
Galrath Slash / Final Thrust
Warrior's Endurance {E}
[secondary damage buff skill]
[secondary anti-condition/hex skill]
Res Sig
Axe Mode Warrior
9+1+3 Strength
11+1 Axe Mastery
rest to secondary
Swift Chop
Dismember
Axe Rake
Executioner's Strike
Warrior's Endurance {E}
[secondary damage buff skill]
[secondary anti-condition/hex skill]
Res Sig
Hammer Mode Warrior
Irresistable Blow
Hammer Bash
Crushing Blow
Mighty Blow
Warrior's Endurance {E}
[secondary snare/speed skill]
[secondary dmg buff / anti-condition/hex skill]
Res Sig
I'm wondering if this would make a decent base setup for a new type of warrior. I know you're missing out on the spikes for frenzied people but for lack of sprint, each build can use their given weapon snares OR buffs from their secondary. [Illusion of Haste, Windborne Speed comes to mind, etc.]
The idea there is for constant harrasment and use of energy based skills + attacks in order to pound your foe into the dirt. W/E sounds like a paramount build to use this since they have enchant element to increase your damage a lot. By spamming your fast recharge energy based skills [you can sub in Wild Blow and what not since you don't need that much adrenaline] you can keep the damage coming...
Now it lacks the raw spike factor of the the frenzy/sprint default warriors but it makes up for it in versatility, survivability, and ease of use.
Anti-warrior anything counters is as usual and missing won't give you the needed energy from Warrior's Endurance to spam your skills. A Zealous weapon will help super charge your regen and allow you to do some heinous skill spamming. Back it up with the right 2ndary and you can do some damage...
Any thoughts? [mentioning the default frenzy/sprint arguments won't help since that means all warriors who claim to be smart are all the same... is there a way for a warrior to deviate and try something different?]

For Ranger secondary I think Apply Poison and either one of their many wonderful stances or possibly even Antidote Signet could come in handy. Gets rid of blind, poison, and disease. No attribute required obviously.

That's probably following the damage buff idea. Using Wilderness Survival to make the poison stick longer with Antidote Sig as the anti-condition would be a good call. Then it becomes a question of hammering away with spamming of things like Seeking Blade, Swift Chop, or Wild Blow, etc...

The problem with the axe build is that you only have one energy-based skill (due to axes' many, many adrenaline based ones). If you replace axe rake with power attack, then I think this build can generate some decent damage with this build (but yes, it has the sprint problem you've identified).

Actually, switching out Executioner's Strike with an Energy Based run punisher [like Bull Strike or the more dangerous Protector's Strike] might work out as well.
