No Nonsense Axe Spiker
Profession: Warrior/
Name: No Nonsense Axe Spiker
Type: General PvP (tested in arenas and tombs)
Category: Spiker/Damage
Attributes:
Axe Mastery: 12 + superior + hat = 16
Strength: 12 + minor = 13
Skills Set:
Eviscerate {Elite} (Axe Mastery)
Executioner's Strike
Penetrating Blow
Swift Chop
Frenzy
Sprint
"For Great Justice!" OR Purge Signet
Resurrection Signet
Summary:
This is what an axe spiker build looks like. The four attack combo can potentially kill a caster outright. With Frenzy engaged, it's over before you can blink. Build up adrenaline, engage Frenzy, and unload the attacks in order on an unsuspecting victim.
Notes & Concerns:
No nonsense here, just a lot of damage and a deep wound really fast. I have used this build very successfully in tombs as a target caller in a smiting team. Also good in arenas, though a little bit weak defensively for CA; I use Purge Signet in CA.
Credit: All the hombres that helped me test this build months ago.

Pretty basic build, no healing means you will need healing monks and I can see this build failing in the 4 on 4 arena.

At the risk of seeming like a n00b, can i ask, why Swift Chop? Why not something equivalent, maybe even like Power Attack, that does more damage? If you're going to be hunting casters primarily, then Swift Chop's "deep wound if attack is blocked" ability won't be all that useful, right?

I'd switch out "For Great Justice!" for "To The Limit!", in my experience TTL is much more efficentat recharging your adren after a spike. Also, I would drop Swift Chop for either a support type skill. Evis >> Exe >> Pen is enough IMO; I think that you could get more use out of something like Gale or Endure Pain or Disrupting Chop.

If I remember swift chop allways hits? So when a monk uses some sort of ench it could prove usefull.. Though I may have got the skill wrong...

If someone is blocking or evading, you change targets. But I'm not here to teach people how to play warrior.

Touchy touchy....
Actually getting rid of the block/evade stance with Wild Blow is a very solid Warrior tactic.
Wild Blow for Swift Chop, or maybe Distracting Blow for Swift Chop.
Disrupting Chop for Penetrating Blow, or maybe Axe Rake for Penetrating Blow.
The added interrupt is nice to stop heals and ressurections. After your Eviscerate/Executioner's spike you don't really need more than normal attacks or maybe Wild Blow to seal the fate of your victim.
I'd stay with For Great Justice!, To the Limit! is a bit conditional for efficient results.

I'd go with Gale instead of For Great Justice .
