i have 25 energy from glad's armor. i have a few major's and minor runes; axe, vigor, absorption, strength.

i cant take the whole griffon bunch at one time, as i can only take on 1 of the 2 groups at a time, or else i will die. what should i do to improve on killing all of them at once?

Test it out, if you die more then three times, change around your healing prayers to protection prayers and use aegis/guardian ^.^

Aegis I feel is useless here. He already has bonetti's.

Nyax, the reason why you can take about a few groups at a time is because you don't have healing keeping you alive at the time. It's great, but I'd really like to see it in action, then I'll show you what I do.

And I use Knight's armor, one major absorb and one major vigor.

I use:

Cyclone Axe, Bonetti's, Symbol of Wrath, Healing Hands, Healing Breeze, Live Vic, Balth Spirit, and mending.

In a farming post it shows me taking more than 10 griffs. The reason why I feel you can't take a whole bunch is because the only thing you got healing yourself while bonetti's is on is you actually hitting them. While I have bonetti's on, healing breeze keeps my health up, and I cycle it with cyclone axe and then put on bonetti's once again.

Try replacing Mending with Live Vicariously, or use them both together. At L8 Healing, each target hit yields +8 life. Here's a pic of my War/Monk in action vs. 10+ griffs... notice the skills being used:

I've subsequently tuned this build to output much more damage.

i can kill them fast with my build, just not all the griffons at once. however the build u are using i can see by ur map u arent taking on all of them. and Alone), i have healing hands, bonetti's, vigorous spirit to keep me alive, and sometimes live vicarously and get about 22 health each griffon each swing with live vicatously on. without it, i get about 11 each griff.

healing hands lasts a while and while i have it on im invincible, and i think my build is capable of killing them all at once, but with a large chance of dying.

I found a problem with taking them all at once: Several of the griffons keep their distance until you kill a certain griff... then they march in and attack. Until then, they just keep their distance. If you run to them, they run away. VERY annoying. Is this part of the new patch?

EDIT: I'll try to get a bigger pull picture together

yes, that's just them playing smart.

However, the reason why I use healing breeze is to stay alive while bonetti's is on.. It just takes longer than all of you probably, but I'm able to aggro all griffs (not including the bosses) 2 groups of minotaurs (3 each).

This isn't all what I mentioned in above, but I had to run from 3 diff groups of devourers. lol damn those dev's.

i personally dont like mending and healing breeze :/
my build is pretty much the same with nyax's
except i have live vicarously instead of mending, to be honest, what good is 3 life regen gonna to do u when there's 20 monsters attacking u?

The reason why I bring mending is when I'm running from devourers. It can help you a lot. I'm really not sure how you are actually surving 20 monsters at you with out healing breeze and mending, but eh, that's just me.

Edit: I prefer using cyclone over hundred blades because it has a faster recharge time.

The pull: Had to out run devourer's before getting all the rest of those stupid minotuars. -_-

Eh, I kept pressing F11 on accident while searching for the screenshot button
had to go back to healing before i died, saw myself get down to 30 hp

I'm using all 3... mainly for safety during the initial pull...

W/Mo... [shakes head...]

W/N Enfeebling Blood, Victory is Mine!, Mark of Pain, Bonetti's Defense. 12 dead griffons in 20s. or less or your money back...

What sucks? When the hexed one has a brain and walks off...

12 only? jk. That's pretty good for a w/n

The biggest challenge I'm using with my technique is gathering up all the minotaurs and griffs. And I mean all minotaurs in that certain area, but no griff bosses. I've been only to do that once, only because I was lucky, which I'll explain.

After all skills and attributes is set, there is timing too. You notice how sometimes when you start to fight them ALL of them attack at the same time, and keep up a certain pace? Well, on the lucky part, I stopped at a certain point when everything started attacking together, and I was able to find certain points to stop using bonetti's defense and use cyclone axe or what not and put back on bonetti's before I died.

Hopefully that might help you all out too when you need a quick change in using a skill.

I have no problems taking on all of them at once.

Heres the build I use.

Healing Prayers: 10
Smiting Prayers: 10
Axe Mastery: 9
Tactics: 8

1)Vigorus Spirit
2)Cyclone Axe
3)Bonetti's Defense
4)Balthazar's Aura
5)Symbol of Wrath
6)Healing Hands
7)Live Vicariously
8)Mending

Weapon Set
Great Axe (Collectors)
6-28 Req. 9
+15% While enchanted
+5 armour
10/6 furious (I want a 10/10 )

Wooden Buckler
16 AL Req. 8
+35 While enchanted

Superior Absorption and Superior Vigor

If possible avoid rockshots as much as possible. When and what they distracting shot is really random. I have had them hit my first cyclone and I've had the three of them on me at once without interrupting a thing. I also avoid the monk griff boss Screamingclaw because he uses aegies and other nasty stuff that stops me from hitting and gaining life and he is a pain to kill. All the Griffs use final thrust so try to keep yourself above 50% health. Dont bother with the chests out here, I tried 5 of them and they were all purples.

i take on all the griffs and minatours at once, including both bosses. but i just ignore the monk boss, he takes too long to kill. =p rockshots are not an issue, or at least they have not been for me. this build is robust enough that getting your cyclone axe disrupted (or any other skill for that matter) does not matter and will still allow you to finish the run.

cyclone, gladaitors, bonettis, vigorous spirit, symbol of wrath, balthazars aura, balthazars spirit, live vicariously

healing : 9
smiting : 11
str : 5
axe : 10
tactics : 8

using both the smites aoe spells allow me to finish the run a fair bit faster than most people will i daresay. i've got enough defense that griffins strike me for 13 as i run around collecting them : i believe it's an auto crit from the back as you're running.

btw what is the current record for lowest crit damage from the back from a griffin? just wondering how high warriors can buff our defense =p i started out taking more than 20 damage from those crit hits, and slowly built up my warrior to this point of taking 13 per strike. post your griffin strike damage here!
