Erm.....just no, wouldn't work. Why have attribute points in smiting then no smite skills except zealots which has now been changed so you can't fire it all the time?

try using this combo i think it works well after the patch:

1-Bonettis
2-Cyclone
3-Healing Hands [E]
4-Shielding Hands
5-Balthazars Aura
6-Vigorous Spirit
7-Live Vicariously
8-Mending

Attributes:
Healing Prayers-10
Smiting Prayers-9
Protection Prayers-5
Axe Mastery-9
Tactics-9

Equip another axe and a mo attribute *not divine favor* energy item, and switch to that when u cast BA.

The sequence i do is this: round em up, attack one, then its 3,2,1,6,2,1,4,2,1,*switch sets*,5,2,1,3,2,1,6,2,1,4,2,1,*switch*,5,2,1,2,1,3 ,2,1, then keep doing that until they are dead....usually takes only 2 casts of BA. ENJOY!

my pure W (admittedly, swordsmanship, but could easily be altered for axe) setup is lots of points into Tactics, then take:

Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Healing Signet
Shield Stance
Bonetti's
Disiplined Stance
Gladiator's Defence
(whatever I feel like, it really doesn't matter at all)

Spend all your time in a stance, going Glad -> Shield -> Glad -> Bonetti's (x 2 or 3) -> Disiplined -> ... till you're others are recharged. There should never be a hole in your defence, and so you won't take much damage at all.

You can heal just fine under any except Bonetti's, and can throw out (deadly)Riposte whenever possible. For an Axe user, you could take along Cyclone Axe (but it's not as good). Or you could replace both those and the last slot with Smiting skills of your choice.
