Well i am a ranger and i want to have a 2nd profession where i can solo not die as easy and help out at trying times please help me?

Warrior (for stances/healing signet)
Monk (for healing/regeneration)

allot of rangers chose necro and im not sure why, if i where a ra/mo would i like solo missions and stuff...? i know its a noob question

imo... the only way a Ranger can solo anything is by using Traps

so to answer ur question... go mesmer secondary ( for Mantra of Resolve or Mantra of Concentration )

i would go with a warrior and build up tactics. you can use healing signet and stances/shouts to raise defense (watch yourself, etc.)
