W/R Or W/Mo?
I am on the verge of switching my W/R to W/Mo. For one, TF just takes too many energy, while Frenzy may take double the damage, but in PvP the monks can heal you like crazy. Troll's Urgent is so-so, but Wilderness Survival and Beast Mastery need skills which are both 7 for me. My build is...
Axe Mastery 12 (+1 including)
Tactics 10 (+1 including)
Beast Mastery 7
Wilderness Survival 7
Those might not be right, because I'm not at home, but that's pretty accurate. My skills are...
Tiger's Fury
Troll's Urgent
Res Sig
Cyclone Axe
Axe Rake
Axe Twist
Cleave
Dismember
I might use Escrivate more often and make a better build than Cleave. Now, alot of people asy that W/Mo are better for Healing Breeze, I have to agree for the time is shorter than TU whatsoever (for I use a Monk, and it's fast as hell). So my new build might be if I become a W/Mo would be...
Frenzy
Healing Breeze
Res Sig
Cyclone Axe
Axe Rake
Axe Twist
Escrivate
Disrupting Chop, Swift Chop, For Great Justice, or Penetrating Blow, can't decide (maybe you guys can help me out on which three I should use for PvP, and the other for PvE)
So I ask you all, should I switch to a W/R to a W/Mo? Or maybe even a W/N, if you do, please explain why I should be a W/N (please don't say I should be a W/Me or W/E, I've used them before, and I don't really enjoyed it). I am also not really sure what I should put my attribute points either for a W/Mo, so please give me a suggestion about that too, please. I'm also going to stay an axeman, not a swordsman.

W/N is more versatile than any other secondary a warrior can combine with.
It can heal [though not as good] as a monk using Blood Magic.
It can deal bonus damage [though not as good] as an ele using Curses.
It can spread conditions [though not as good] as a ranger using Death Magic.
It can shutdown [again, not as good] as a Mesmer using a hammer.
It can ignore armor [ditto] like a Mesmer using Blood Magic as well.
By going W/N, you can be the swiss army knife of your team.
It can do everything any other class can do depending on what role you wish and what's more, you're a weapon using monster that nobody 'normally' wants to target making it easy to do your role.
However, if you're bent on choosing between W/R and W/Mo, unless you do something with a pet, I'd stay away from W/R and go W/Mo using Smiting. Bring Smite Hex and some res skill of some sort [depending on pvp/pve] and you're good to go. Self-heals are only best utilized via long lasting enchantments like Vigorous Spirit or Live Vicariously. [if you cast both on yourself, you're pretty much set as far as surviving is concerned in pve]

You dont want to be a jack of all trades no matter what. For pvp you specialize, no i dont mean in just 2 attributes, but in max 4.

It seems that he is only listing the possibilities of a W/N, not urging the thread writer to actually BE all of those things as a W/N. IMO, A W/R with Tiger's Fury will take down any W/Mo out there, especially if you can manage your energy (hint: use zealous haft) Perhaps the reason that your W/R build isn't working is that you're packing the wrong skills. I would suggest getting rid of wilderness survival and dumping it all into Beast Mastery. The point of a W/R isn't to survive, it's to deal massive damage. Leave the healing to the monks.

/agree
i dont think w/n is that good in tombs. warriors arent utility characters, you let the necro or emo do that, they can do it alot better

Let the monks do their job. Do your job of disruption and damage.
Sprint
Frenzy
Eviscerate
Executioners
Disrupting Chop
Ji/SoH/Conjure
Res sig
whatever you want (swift chop perhaps)
Basic Axe build
If you're bad at warrior use Tigers Fury because you won't be able to use frenzy properly. If you're good and the build isn't IWAY use Frenzy and maximize your potential.

It all depends on your preference. If you want to solo, or if you want to aid in groups.
Warrior/monk I feel is the best for solo. While Warrior/Elem is better for aiding. But that's just my opinion.
Warrior/Monk Skills I use:
Cyclone Axe | Bonetti's Defense | Live Vicariously | Mending | Vigrous Spirit | Zealot Fire | Symbol Of Wrath |
Warrior/ Elem:
Sever Artery | Final Thrust | Healing Signet | Conjure flame| Phoenix | Fire storm | Glyph of lesser energy
Just how I play.
