Default Nec/Mes armor ignoring anti-buffer

Ah, after reading up on some of the high enchant type builds and hex builds roaming about due to NR's balancing, this idea came to mind.

A well balanced diverse build designed to hinder the enemy team to a large degree and MASSIVELY punish them should they decide to use enchantments or buffs. Stealing hexes comes to mind since this is going to be a curse heavy build...

7+1 Soul Reaping
12+1+3 Curses
8+1 Blood Magic
8 Inspiration

Shadow Strike
Vampiric Gaze
Awaken the Blood
Shadow of Fear
Desecrate Enchantments
Spiteful Spirit {E}
Drain Enchantment
Inspire Hex

Ok, now we have here an 18 curses build utilizing armor ignoring blood magic as both a health and damage buffer. The 9 becomes 11 blood magic causing both your Shadow Strike and Vampric Gaze to do an impressive amount of damage in the opening few seconds.

The REAL force behind this build is the Aoe Disruption/Damage blend that is Desecrate Enchantments, Shadow of Fear, and Spiteful Spirit {E}.

In order to both protect your teammates and feed your energy, if the foe is only using a few enchantments [less than 4], then Drain Enchantment along with inspire hex can keep your energy high and your team under less dmg pressure.

"What if they're not using any enchants or hexes?!" Then uh, why would you care? Your team is obviously stronger than they are if they decide to use neither enchantment nor hex. What's more, Spiteful Spirit {E} and Desecrate will hurt a LOT even if they're not using enchantments. I had only enough room to make the choice between Enfeebling Blood and Shadow of Fear. If both are used, you've got ultimate warrior shutdown, however, I needed an efficient AoE hex that lasted a looong time for the energy spent and Shadow of Fear won the race.

Weaknesses? Well, physical dmg isn't too much of a problem since Shadow of Fear REALLY hinders a warrior's dmg output and a ranger's as well as the high blood magic at 11 allows powerful life draining capabilities... Fear from warriors or rangers shouldn't be too prevalent...

Casters? Well, most casters utilize enchantments to some degree. This build doesn't have any outside awaken the blood so it's relatively safe from anti-enchants. Just be wary of anti-casters. You're not a mesmer due to your insanely high curses rating so your skills will be coming out at slooww normal speed.

Energy issues will become a concern if the enemies won't die feeding your soul reaping. "but why bother with it?! just up your inspiration!" Soul reaping, unlike your inspiration skills, have NOO recycle time. Therefore, concentrating on hindering your foes and killing them will simply add to your mana pool. And with the enchanters now out and about, Desecrate at 18 Curses should outright KILL them if not severely make them wish they didn't fight you...

Your thoughts?

I would drop soul reaping for domination, and pick up shatter hex/ shatter enchantment to add to your damage a bit, but that's just me, I'm not a fan of soul reaping for pvp at all.

I can see where you're coming from regarding Soul reaping. Still, it's the stat that makes a necro continue the fight. Whereas Inspiration works if enemies have energy to steal. [when they don't have energy to steal, they should be in effect, dead/dying, which gives you an extra option for energy...]

I would go for feast of corruption. Desecrate sucks ass for 15energy. Btw shadow of fear reduces damage by spiteful spirit. I would try enfeebling blood instead, to reduce warrior damage while still keeping spiteful spirit DPS high. Also any form of adren shutdown from illusion would do wonders.

Feast only works if I hex stack. I don't have the energy to do this, and most likely not gonna get the enemies to bunch up properly. That and stealing due to hexing is a bad idea since they're gonna defend from hexes, not enchantments. Punishing Enchantments is more useful since they're not going to remove their own enchantments to defend against armor ignoring dmg. They will remove hexes to lower Feast of Corruption though and what's more, Spiteful is always good. Your idea for Enfeebling Blood vs. Shadow of Fear is valid. I can just steal the hp sacrificed, keep their attacks coming, and Spiteful will kill them in mass. I'll need to spam it more though since Enfeebling doesn't have the duration of Shadow

Shadow of Fear is an AoE Hex, and is perfect for FoC. If you're worried about Hex removal, then why take it to begin with?

I have been using a necro for a while now.. and i believe this combo would be very decent if not very devastating in tombs, and for certain reasons even moreso in gvg.

However my suggestion is maybe playing with your stats... find a way to make blood magic higher.. unless you really dont want/need it.
