Thumbs up Classic RPG Class Templates.

Paladin(W/Mo)- Paladins combine the strength and weapon mastery of the Warrior with the healing, smiting and protective prayers of the Monk. A high level Paladin is a force to be reckoned with, capable of dealing remarkable amounts of damage with his chosen melee weapon while at the same time effectively casting healing and protection spells on his allies. Paladins are often masters at the use of a sword and shield, or massive hammers, using them to deal out damage on their enemies whilst at the same time calling down the wrath of the gods.

Paladin Attribute Allocations-
Hammer Mastery or Swordsmanship-12
Healing Prayers- 8
Protection Prayers-8
Smiting Prayers-4
Tactics(If using Swordsmanship)-9
Strength-4

Shadow Knight(N/W)- The ominous Shadow Knight is the polar opposite of the Paladin, combining a primary specialization in Necromancy, with the Swordsmanship, Strength, and Tactical skills of the Warrior. In the same way a Paladin calls upon the Gods to heal and protect his allies, a Shadow Knight uses the life force of his enemies either against them, or to heal and protect his allies. A consumate Shadow Knight is capable of weakening his opponent's protections against attacks, turing his enemies' lifeforce against them, or using his enemy's life force to heal himself or his allies.

Shadow Knight Attribute Allocations:
Curses-12
Blood Magic-8
Swordsmanship-8
Tactics-5
Strength-5

(more to come later)

Sorceror(Me/E)- The mighty Sorceror combines Elemental Magic with the Illusion and Domination magic of the Mesmer. He is content to either dominate or confuse his enemy just as much as he is to blast him with a ball of fire or an ice spike. His overall effectivness at attacking his foes from a reasonable distance more than makes up for his lack of heavy armor or melee combat skill. Perhaps the Sorceror's most important skill, however, is his fast casting ability. This gives him the ability to not only devastate his opponent from range but also do it at speeds faster than most other spellcasters.

Sorceror Attribute Allocations:

Choose between Fire, Earth, Air or Water Magic to the maximum allocation.
Domination Magic- 8
Illusion Magic-8
Fast Casting-6
Any remaining attribute points should be evenly distributed between the other three elementalist skills that you did not choose to max out.

Warlock(N/E)- The powerful yet evil warlock is capable of commanding both the occult and macabre, as well as the elements. Though he is capable of helping his fellow party members, he prefers to act alone and for himself. As with the sorceror, the warlock makes up for his lack of heavy armor or melee combat skill with his spellcasting ability. Although the warlock lacks the casting speed of the sorceror, he compensates for this lack of speed with his life stealing abilities.

Warlock Attribute Allocations:
Choose one of the Elementalist Specializations up to 8
Curses-8
Blood Magic-8
Any remaining skill points should be distributed equally to the three elementalist skills you did not choose above.

Battlemage(W/E)- The mighty Battlemage is among the most powerful combatants, combining the sword with the arcane. Although he does not possess his secondary profession's energy storage skills, he more than makes up for this with his ability to wear heavier armor, use a sword effectively, and his great strength. The best battlemages are able to combine the use of a sword(or axe/hammer if chosen) with their powerful elemental magic and use this combination to burn, freeze, shake, or even blow an opponent into submission while at the same time slashing with his sword.

Battlemage Attribute Allocations
Swordsmanship-10
Strength-5
Tactics-8
Choose one of the following:
Fire Magic-8
Earth Magic-8
Water Magic-8
Air Magic-8

Any left over attribute points should be placed in either remaining Elementalist disciplines or strength/tactics

Here are a few of my own special creations too

Shadow Priest(N/Mo)- The terrifying Shadow Priest combines two polar opposite professions in a volatile mixture of dark and light power. Having both the life stealing curses and blood magic abilities of the Necromancer and the healing and protection prayers of the Monk, the Shadow Priest is able to heal his allies so effectively that some might say no one in his party can possibly die.

Shadow Priest Allocations:

Blood Magic-9
Curses-9
Healing Prayers-8
Protection Prayers-8

Any remaining attribute points should be put into your choice of soul reaping, or smiting prayers.

Arcane Archer(R/E)[NWN for teh win!]- The mighty Arcane Archer combines the nature based abilities of the Ranger and the the Elementalist's command of the elements. He can choose to specialize in anyone of the Elementalist's disciplines. Although almost completely a ranged profession, don't let this fact fool you. The Arcane Archer can stop any opponent in their tracks well before they get into melee range.

Arcane Archer Attributes:
Marksmanship-9
Wilderness Survival-9
Expertise-9
Choose one Elementalist Discipline to 9
Any remaining attribute points may be distributed at the whim of the player.

Death Summoner- (N/R)The seeminly weak Death Summoner should not be taken lightly. His ability to charm any animal of his choosing, and to command undead minions in battle more than make up for his lack of basic ranged or melee combat effieciency. The best Death Summoners call upon both living beings and reanimate the corpses of their slain enemies and utilise both in battle.

DS Attributes:
Beast Mastery-12
Death Magic-12

Any remaining skill points maybe distributed in either of the combined professions at the whim of the player.

I hope everyone here likes the specializations I have created.

Rogue: Ranger/Warrior

The agile rogue can be the nuisence of any team. Swiftly dodging any attacks that come her way and has the ability to attack at melee or distance. While the rogue isn't always the first one to take the hit for her group, she can hold her own on any ground. A very versatile fighter and not one to be underestimated.

Rogue Attribute Allocations (depends on if you're using a bow or a melee weapon):
Expertise: 9
Marksmenship: 13-14
Wilderness Survival: 8
Tactics: Dump all remaining points into this.

If you're using a melee weapon, you can probably lower the weapons stat down to 11 or 12 and put the rest of the points into Wilderness Survival or Tactics.

my usuall stat location for a r/w rogue is
9 Expertise
12 Swords
4 Beast
8 Tacts

build is basicly relying on tigers fury and a couple sword attacks and poison to do damage. fun for random arena, not so useful anywhere else.

and im starting to think Elgon doesnt have a clue what hes doing....his N/E has a 6 point spread...sounds funny tho

He's not going for effectiveness, he's going for authenticity.

Exactly. And I did notice that the combos I have don't get some of the things I put in my allocations so I just dumped more of my points into certain things that I wouldn't have otherwise when I tried them. The Shadow Knight ended up with more points in blood and curses. worked out really good
