i have been running this build for a little over a week now. 2 days ago i gave this build to an ex guildie and now it's posted EXACTLY how i told him to build it . im not saying im the only one to come up with this build but , hmmm ...

anyway , this realy is a powerful build !
i can take down a monk in seconds if they try and out heal me.
the original poster, posted my old unfinished build. serpents quickness is not needed in this build and actually messes it up . you will be out of power by the 2nd kill and totally worthless :P
add duel shot instead of serpents and go with r /me for mantra of resolve or inspired hex .
i have also used a r / nec for rend enchantments.

i have 2 other versions of this build i want to try out but havent yet .
one being r / w ... i don't remember the name of the skill offhand , but the one where your attacks can not be blocked or evaded.
the other is basically the same... r / me with chokeing gas for ball groups

anyway , have fun with the build , give it a try you will be supprised !

< edit >
if you have any questions about the build. you can whisper me ingame ...
tias xia.

Kindle/quickshot is hardly a startling new revelation. It does decent damage. Of course there are a ton of possible counters, but in random it's not that unlikely to get a streak of opposing teams who didn't bring them, or only brought ones that your monks could remove.

Getting a lot of wins in random arena when you have two monks is nothing special. Not many random teams can break through that kind of defense.

Precisely. I have been using a qs ranger for a long time, ever since i picked it up in a thread here on guru a couple months ago. Plenty of people we using it before me, too. So I dont think anyone here has the right to cry about their build being stolen.

You had a CA team with a healer and protector and you think you were the sole reason for your wins? I don't care what your build is, that team is going to be successful. This isn't to discredit your build, but I'd like to see how the build works on a non-monked, uncooperative team.

a 3rd monk would doom that team

well most good pvp builds suck if you have a crap team.

for example, tf warriors are almost strictly better in comp arenas than frenzy wars cus you will not have good monk support, will not have allied hex/condition removal, and there are nubs on the enemy team who will attack you. but move to actual pvp and frenzy wars surpass them easily.

but in general yes i agree with everyone here that he should not take credit for having a good ca team.

quickshot builds were invented a LONG time ago, about during June or July. these builds were proven to be able to bring down an enemy caster in a couple seconds, on your own.

QS+RtW, in my opinion, > QS+kindle.

most people dont understand that warrior builds are able to do this much massive damage ,to a caster, much the same way. my warrior build can do this just without the distance. but this is the first ranger build that has worked for me , it does better for me than interupt

lol ys i know it sounds dumb and old but i nvr see it get used thats why i like it it's so strong but unoticed me and my guild deicied to run a healer/prot(ele/mo)/and 2 of my build a bit modifed and we won 17 in a row then our healer left at the start of a battle that we still won 3 vs 4 and then we got a noob for 3 matches that didn't follow calls and left when we things looked bad ...and we still won then i had to go later on at about 24 wins in a row see it's realy good with 2 of this build (modified)
