Default need some advice with my mesmer

Just tested a new build for my mesmer/monk based around mantra of recall and contemplation of purity. i combined these with ether lord and arcane echo to double ether lord / mantra of recall. i also put in ether feast for self heal and signet of resurrection, because i just played random 4v4 arena.

12+1+3 in inspiration
11 in protection
the rest into fast cast
max armor with energy bonus (don't know its english name)

so i got nearly infinite energy with some energy denial. now my problem is i dunno what to use my last 2 slots for to gain a maximum of effectiveness.
can anyone give me some advice, because my build with 2 protection skills wasn't that effective.

Energy management is usually something you put into a build that primarily does something else. It doesn't really work to devote a build to that - what are you going to do with all your energy?

I thought Mantra of Recall didn't stack.

Does it? Cause its recast timer enables you to recast right as it goes out.

Mantra of Recall (10/1/20)
my build works like that at the moment:
cast mantra first - cast AE - cast etherlord - cast etherlord again - use contemplation of purity to regain 29 energy.
you might use staff and focus-item with improved skill recharge for inspiration magic.
The two etherlord gives you +6 pip to energy and -3 to the two enemies u casted it on.
Since im playing rdm arena at the moment i gotta have ether feast and res-signet equipped. So i just have 2 skills slots left for other spells.
If i dont have feast and res-signet equipped i got 4 skill-slots for spells as from domination/illusion magic.
Now my question was which spells would have the best effect to work with my build.
Maybe this energy management would be better suited in a Mo/Me build ?
any thoughts ?

ether lord is not a very effective skill on its own. maybe as part of an energy denial build, but even then i can think of better options.

it doesn't seem you're doing much on the battlefield, you wanna go protection? than pack yourself full of protection spells and don't worry about energy denial. (in this case i'd suggest going mo/x). if you want to deny energy then look into the mesmer skills that do that (there are quite a few). don't try to do everything yourself, most chances are that you will fail.

define your role, and build around that, using the best combination of skills you can. the way you have it now, you're an ignored target.
