ViM Monk
The idea for this isnt mine, no idea who started it really, a few people where askign me about this and i figured everyone knew already, so i decided to post it so people wont have to wonder in the future, this is only how I use it.
you should chang it up to fit your builds specific playstyle. It works Under 2 Trappers causing mass conditions on the Other team, you ball up on the trapper and use ViM to get max energy back instantly and continue on with your overpowered heal spells, there are 2 ViM monks and a Martyr monk for mirror matches to stop the opposing team from using your condition against you. Ive heard of people using this in Teams with a Frag Spike with a little success btu personally ive only tried it under 2 trappers, with good trappers you should have max energy every 15 secs. As an added side bonus ViM also completely counters any Spirits like QZ when it coems to your Energy, and provided you have at least the energy to cast ViM any energy denial against you is a wasted effort, personally I put up 3 Holy Veils, one on each monk at the start of every match, I could sit in the entire match with only 1 Pip and still have all the energy I will ever need.
ViM Healer
Monk/Warrior
Divine (6+1)
Healing(11+1)
Smiting(3+1)
Protection(9+3)
Tactics(9)
VIM {E}
Infuse health
Healing Seed
HealParty
Aegis
Shields Up
Smite Hex
Holy Veil
Infuse Health is For quick Anti Spiking, its a dangerous skill against a experienced spiek group however as most likely they will have people watching you for the right time to switch targets onto you.
Heal Party is your spammable spell for EOE and the times when Hex overload or your Martyr monk just isnt doing teh job right, ViM makes it so you can cast this 4 or 5 times every 15 seconds.
Shields Up Is only for Ranger Spike, theres a ton of it at the moment in Tombs, I switched out Divine favor for Tactics which allowed me to use ViM as a HP Regen to Infuse Health and Give Aegis a boost of 30% to ranger spike and 50 Armor for the 1 out of 5 arrows that gets through.
Smite Hex and Holy Veil are the two best hex removels available to Monk/Warrior, Holy Veil itself is the Best HeX removel in the game.

The problem I have with this build is lack of control... You have no real control of your engine which involves enemies covered in conditions. What's worse is that you have to be in 3/4th ward range for your skill to be effective. As a squishy monk, that's a VERY risky endeavor to even consider.
I don't see it working well as being either versatile or useful. Outside your specific scenarios, the build is a dead build...
I'd prefer a build that didn't need to be THAT specific. [for example, say you don't have trappers or you're on a team that doesn't want/need them, what then?]
I'd say a monk using Plague Touch / Sending would be better. Ah well...

it works alright in the right build for it... need to disable other teams condition removal though (humility etc) and have a heavy condition based build of your own

Or have a Me/N conditioning the warriors who are attacking the monks.
Something like...
Shadow of Fear
Signet of Agony
Plague Sending
Virulence{E}
Epidemic
Rend Enchantment
Putrid Explosion
Res Sig
No where near perfect but a general idea I threw together for something to fuel a ViM! Monk.

Or just go for a full condition build and Signet of Humilate the Prot Monk.

I would personally want Healing Touch to counter the downside of Infuse Health. However if your ViM works for you, great.

Healign touch has a long recharge so iut cant be used to well, on top of that you wont be able to get a maxed divine favor so even then it wotn be as useful as you would think.
Personally I would see this build with 3 Mesmers 2 Trappers and 3 Monks 1 of them going martyr prot, a few people argue as to who exactly made that build up, between Mr. Poor, Super Friends, Hk, and various other guilds, that build relies on the 3 mesmers to totally shutdown the otehr teams monks while making your monks super powered because noone can remove conditions on there side, one of the mesmers brings the signet that disabales the elite so you find out who has martyr and work him with it. Whoever claims they made it is stupid because noone invented the mesmer domination line, except for anet, and thats all it really is, a few monks a few trappers and a few domination mesmers.
